The Monks team has done such a nice job with this location. It has the same heart as the original SF location while making... excellent use of the increased space inside and out. The food is consistently good and the staff is genuinely friendly. Lastlyas a non drinker I appreciate that they keep a solid selection of non-alcoholic options on top of their renowned beercollection. Read more

Went there today with my partner about 25 minutes ago, hoping to have a nice lunch for our anniversary. We were seated, given... menus and water, then were forgotten by our server. I tried catching her attention, but she kept doing side work, then went tothe bar and was chatting. After waiting to order for 15 minutes, we just left. :( Read more

Really liked this place! Food was delicious. Staff were knowledgeable and gracious. And there was a fun alcohol menu. The decor... and mood was comfortable and open, professional yet laid-back. If we're ever in this area again, we'll definitely stop by. Read more

I'm never disappointed when I go to Monk's kettle. Love the menu choices. Once in a while, the salads are not up to par, but... overall, there is something for everyone. I love the fried chicken sandwich with the hot oil on the side. The service has alwaysbeen good and I love the atmosphere. It's good to have a restaurant in TL that is not Mall Food. Read more

Paid $16 for a $9 burger. Unfortunately watery Caesar salad dressing. Far overpriced pretzel bites at $6 per piece. Service was... good, but didn’t make up for the lack of value in the food. The burgers, which are the hallmark of this restaurant, didn’thave any crunch whatsoever, and the buns were soggy. I liked the atmosphere in the place, but they desperately need a menuchange. Location is good as well, but they need to bring the menu’s value up to the price. Read more

What an incredible find! Beautiful, welcoming space, warm, friendly service that makes you feel like family, and excellent food.... I had a relaxing, casual lunch with a close friend. We both got the stupendously creamy, perfectly seasoned butternut squashsoup sprinkled with pumpkin seeds; amazing, and just the right size. I got a terrific Caesar salad with homemade croutons &avocado & my friend got the beet salad served over little gem lettuce with goat cheese & pine nuts. Both salads were generousportions. The details everywhere are exceptional. In addition to the great food & service, bountiful natural light and freshartwork, the enamelware serving pieces are charming, and best of all - the table is set with heavy, elegant, high qualityflatware that’s a pleasure to dine with. We can’t wait to go back! Read more

Had a great dog-walk stop with 2 beers and hop-salt fries. In the courtyard patio, my dog was so relaxed that he almost fell... asleep. These dogPub stops are all about the dog. He (and I) just love the courtyard patio, but the front-of-building table isterrible with the dogDiscomforting activities such as bikes, cars, scooters and skateboards. In the after-dinner hours, youwould need to book a reservation for the patio via the website because, obviously, that courtyard fills up with parties with orwithout dogs. Some beers are better than others, and the staff is quite chill. Read more
