I usually go to la Toscana but I had heard great things about gaspares. And they were true. The homemade and gnocchi and pente... paste in vodka, sauce were excellent. The Caesar salad needed some help my night, I always give things another chance. Alittle overdressed and only one crouton on a family size. Speak to The service was great and they squeaked us in on a Fridaynight. I will definitely be back for the full bar and pizza test. Read more
The pizza was delicious but the toppings were loaded mostly in the middle of the pie? what the hell? Reminded me of that scene... in Casino about the blueberry distribution in the muffins. The calzone was meh. The edge to seal the calzone was was like 2inches.who does that? Read more
Nice restaurant and recommended! Staff will serve a basket of breads and you can order meatballs to eat together. Pizza and... pasta are also recommended. Overall experience - food is great, portion is large enough and service is good as well! The priceis reasonable. Read more

Great Italian place in San Rafael! Our first dine-in experience was during covid so the dine-in was more of a dine-out. Servers... are always wearing masks and keep a little bit if distance. My favorite dish is the seafood risotto- so creamy with all of theseafood you would crave! Happy hour is a dollar off alcoholic drinks. Calamari fritti is perfectly fried. Chocolate mousse isalways delicious. We'll definitely come back to hang out with friends after the pandemic is over! Friendly staff, excellent pizza and what appeared to be a whole lot of regular customers. My wife and i will definitely go back.
