Reviews for Colossus in San Pedro, CA
Get the chocolate almond croissant! So good! ???? First time in San Pedro and I had to stop here for a quick (and friendly)... breakfast! Good variety of pastries! And like I said, the chocolate almond croissant was delicious. The almond paste was verytasty and the chocolate was yummy! Read more
Apparently this little place has been hiding out for over a year. I had no idea that something like this existed in San Pedro.... I’ve been here my whole life and I’ve always really disliked, even hated, the coffee shops that are in San Pedro. This isnecessary for coffee connoisseur‘s like myself. They have great, no amazing, pastries. The coffee quality is really good andit is not watered down Because they know what they’re doing. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10 easy. Even though I havea $600 coffee machine at home, I still leave the house once a week to come and get coffee from Colossus. And a burrito from nextdoor. Read more
The barista had a welcoming smile and aura from the moment I entered the cafe. The store is small but charming on the inside. I... waited outside the store for my drinks in the outdoor seating, and the barista brought my coffees out to me! A very nicesurprise. Great service and great coffee. I got a hot mocha, iced vanilla latte, and a rose danish which were all delicious. Ilive far, but I will definitely be back when I'm around in the future. Read more
Hands down they have the best chocolate chip cookies. No doubt about it small little bakery kinda easy to miss but pass by early... enough and you’ll definitely not miss the lovely aroma coming from the baking. If your a cookie lover this place can bedangerous lol I only get a cookie at a time otherwise I know I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from consuming them all atonce. Definitely a must try. So went back got another cookie this time got a Carmel lavender iced latte it was absolutelydelicious. It definitely is a strong coffee for me. I’m currently a little dizzy from it. However if u need something to getus through the day this is definitely it. If you are sensitive to caffeine like I apparently am. I’d recommend eatingsomething before drinking your coffee. Read more
We've gone to a couple of very expensive patisseries but this place is the best! Our guests really enjoyed the pastry. It is not... overly sweet and has a deep flavor. Read more
Cute coffee shop with excellent coffee. It's definitely more of a quick stop, rather than a brunch place. I decided to be... adventurous today and ordered an iced London fog, instead of my go-to mocha. I didn't know until afterwards, but London fogsusually take a bit of time to make, but they got it out fairly quickly by skipping the frothed milk layer. Overall, verydelicious; it's my new go-to order. It's light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced between milky and sweet. Read more
I tried the savory mushroom miso pastry, and the vegan city's poppy cookie. The pastries were good, as was the coffee. It's in... a residential area with narrow streets. Parking can be a challenge, but we found a spot easily. Read more
I first encountered Colossus in Long Beach and decided to check out this smaller, OG location. The shop is cute and the staff is... very friendly, great vibe overall. I had a butter croissant and a cherry pistachio danish, the croissant dough is flaky andtasty, making these pastries a delight to savor. I also had a bread loaf and enjoyed it at home over a few days. Read more
