I love this place ever since I started attending Marymount Califotnia University. It is warm and friendly. The service is Boss.... Love the food and pies. First time trying Banana Cream pie one day next day was Coconut Cream pie. Yummy. The waitress with thesilver hair is the best. Forgot her name. There is 2. The smiling one who jokes around saying "You cannot eat your pie afterfinishing your meal." Well I eat it all since I am hungry always going there. Will definitely return soon. We stopped in after a long drive down the coast. Was hoping for some warm comfort food but ended up disappointed, service was... horrible, food was horrible and restaurant was not clean. Beyond upset. Strawberry pie was the worst, I'm from the south and weare not lazy when it comes to pie making, this pie was whole berries thrown on a thin soggy crust with tasteless whippedtopping. Patty melt had a sugary sauce on it which made it extremely unpleasant. So much potential but they need to put some TLCinto their food. The waitress was "friendly" towards my husband, however, was outright rude towards me. I will add like manyother's, if you're a European American (white) boomer, you will probably enjoy the food and have great service.
