During our Labor Day trip to San Mateo, we walked into Romolo's carrying our two tired and hot kids. (Who knows how this would... go!) But Joey greeted us with big energy and friendly warmth. He cracked jokes, shared ice cream samples, and brightened ourentire afternoon. Our final cups and cones spanned mint Oreo, coffee, chocolate and strawberry ? all of it ridiculously tasty.We also took a cannoli to go and *devoured* it that night. In short, you gotta visit. My friend recommended this cute little shop and my mom and I had the best time picking out our cannoli!
