Stopped in on my lunch break for a sandwich and drink. Had the Monroe (chicken salad) as a friend recommended it. It did not... disappoint and was absolutely delicious and generous. The new owners are extremely friendly and are trying new items to add tothe menu, including breakfast items like waffles. Give this local family run place a chance. These times are hard especially asthe local school across the street, which my son attends, is closed obviously because of COVID. Thanks Kingston! Read more

They have such a comfy set up from couches to long family sized tables even... including a wardrobe packed with books and all sorts of card games and board games. Great neighborhood spot with yummy organic food. Housemade Chicken Noodle was the perfect soup to welcome me to my new... neighborhood. Reminds me a bit of Zocalo Coffee house on the other side of the Bay, where I just left after 21 years. I willcertainly be back! :) Read more
Incredible cafe in an indiscrete location. The coffee was great and so we're the sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful... when helping me find something good. I stayed at a hotel close to here for 5 days and came here every morning. If I'm back inthe bay area, I'll definitely return to this cafe. Read more
This cafe isn't conveniently located to my work or home, but I went in on a lark two months ago and have been back at least once... or twice a week since then. Each time, the coffee drinks (lattes and cappuccinos) have been consistently outstanding, and onthe occasions where I've had food, the sandwiches have been quite nice and the pastries have been very decent. As in mostindependent shops, the quality can vary a little bit based on who's behind the counter on the day you visit, so some daysthey've been *amazing* and some days they've merely been *quite good*. If you have some reason to be in this neighborhood, youprobably already know about this cafe; if not, it's worth going out of your way to visit. Read more
