Not a bad place but not very good either. Really disappointed to get fried rice to split with another with only 5 little shrimp... in it. Its pathetic when you think you can get a 5lb bag of rice and 1/4lb of fresh shrimp for the same price. Also very skimpyon the orange chicken sauce. chicken is more like fluffy cakey corn dog batter than a crunchy corn starch batter. Staff verynice and food comes quick. Read more
It's hard to find places like this one. Food is always fresh, fast and delicious. We commute from Hayward at least once a month... to have lunch or dinner here. We love it. Dishes are always made how you want it. It's a hidden gem! Read more
Delicious food and at such a great price! It has been so long since I've had tofu Chow mein this good. My fiance got the honey... walnut shrimp and it was delicious. Staff was so friendly and I saw our waitress being so kind and helpful to the table overthat had a child struggling to choose what to order. If I lived in San Mateo this would definitely be my go-to but for now itwill just have to be a place I visit when I'm in town. I hope to return soon! Read more
The menu is VERY basic and the food was just ok. Hard to comprehend all the 5 star reviews. We are in the restaurant and also... think that the Google description as a ?trendy place with contemporary styling? is quite the stretch! We ordered delivery and got our food very quick. The bag was super hot and I had high hopes but unfortunately when eating I... noticed a lot of the meat and vegetables were cold in the middle. This made me wonder if the food was just being reheatedinstead of cooked when ordered. The portion size was pretty big. We order the chicken corn soup which was very tasty. The beefchow main was good but this had many cold pieces of meat. The chicken fried rice was very bland. The string beans were also coldin the middle. The honey walnut shrimp was soggy, and lastly the Mongolian beef was a bit tough and also cold in the middle. Idon?t know if this restaurant is better to eat while dining in but I was pretty disappointed on my takeout order with howexpensive everything was. Read more
Food is pretty good, great welcoming and service. If you're very hungry, no worries, the portions are huge. The only thing I... didn't feel like it was super fresh, was the tofu. It had a particular rancid flavor. Overall good price! Read more
