Reviews for B Street & Vine in San Mateo, CA
Desert was delicious, the salad were great, some bruschettas were not to our taste.
It was our first time here and we didn't realize that most people come here for the bruschetta. We ordered: 1. Pastrami panini:... it was a good panini. The pastrami was flavorful but the cheese was a little too much and took away from the meat 2. BBQ chickensalad: I would not recommend this. The chicken was not flavored at all. Tested like store bought cooked chicken strips that werejust coated in a BBQ sauce. And the sauce itself was sweet and didn't have much of a BBQ taste. The rest was mainly romaine withvery little black beans and other ingredients. 3. Artichoke soup: The flavor was good but we had to get out pieces of theartichoke fiber every bite and some were pretty big. It should have been strained. 4. Kid's grilled cheese sandwich: Worthordering if your kids like nothing else on the menu. Dessert: 1. Lemon raspberry ice cream pie: Delicious lemon flavored that'stopped with a velvety layer of raspberry. If you like sweet and tart desserts, this is a must try! 2. Nutella, strawberry andcookie crumble bruschetta: Nothing to write home about. It tastes good but you can recreate this easily at home. I wouldn'tspend $5.75 for a single bruschetta if I were to go next time. The outdoor ambience is very nice so we might go again and orderdifferent things. Read more

Just so much bread, but the food was delicious. I had the kale salad with bread. For such a nice restaurant the bathroom looks... like it belongs in a dive bar. Read more

Good find in downtown. Had planned to go to another place but that was closed. Walked into this place. They are famous for their... bruschetta - lots of different versions to choose other than the traditional (they have that too). Ordered the bruschetta - wegot the smoked salmon, roasted pepper remoulade, mushroom, brie with apples. They were all terrific - they make their own breadso everything was fresh and tasted amazing. For entrees I got the Italian sausage panini and my fellow diner got the veggie.Panini is another thing they are known for :). I really liked mine, my fellow diner thought hers was good too. The service wasgood and not intrusive. They are fully covid safe - outside seating, masks on, etc. Highly recommend. Read more
Great paninis made with freshly baked bread. The pineapple they used in some of their foods is quite surprisingly delicious
We ordered a grilled cheese and a caprese sandwich, although I was expecting a single sandwich. We were pleasantly surprised by... the restaurant splitting the sandwich for me and my friend! That's super thoughtful and loved it! Read more
