Love this place, best coffee shop in town. Only gripe is that I wish they?d stock some pastries or something, almost gave 4... stars for that but I like them too much. My go-to is a potato egg and cheese breakfast taco, generally a yerba or black coffee,occasionally I?ll get a Nutty Irishman which is really good. Try the salsa verde. Read more

Definitely not coming back here. Complete waste of money. The pancakes were too dense and had no flavor even with syrup. The... French toast was just plain toast, no egg/cinnamon/ vanilla mix. Nobody cleans the tables so you have to sit at sticky, dirtytables. The table next to us arrived and ordered 20 minutes after we did and got their food 15 minutes before we did. Coffee was bland at best. Staff have no sense of urgency to what is happening around them whether it is slow or busy. Looks... like a fun place to work though. Breakfast was soaked in used oil or at least tasted like it. I had looked forward to tryingthis place. Read more
best cafe west of the Mississippi! The customer service gets an A++++, with exceptions for the bad days (cause who doesn?t have... bad days?) Best freaking cup of coffee in town (especially the cold brew). It?s a one of a kind taste. The sense of community isstrong here. Everybody has your back if you need. It did not work for me. There were not a lot of places in the area for breakfast. Perfect opportunity to get them noticed and... show what they can offer. However, coffee was bland. Ordered a breakfast Burrito that was odd shape (4×3) and presented worsethan high school's cafeteria food. Flavor was 5/10. Service was 6/10.They have an opportunity to make this a great place (eventhough parking is really challenging) for food and coffee but they lack desire. I just can't go back there. Read more
It's a little small on the inside, but the atmosphere there was very relaxing. Their breakfast quesadilla is the best quesadilla... I've ever had; and I say that as someone who grew up eating lots of Mexican food. If you're in San Marcos and you don't stop bythis place, you're missing out. Read more
