Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The waitress Joe came to take our order and in doing this I... noticed that she did not write it down and I thought well she may get something wrong because there was some stipulations that Ihad wanted on my meal. She read it back and immediately went off and went and placed the order in she probably brought back thedrinks then brought the meal and it was perfect in between getting our order and other orders she was taking I continue tonotice that she was prompt and took the time to help one individual with direct conversation and it was done in Spanish toaccommodate that person who spoke little English. At all times she moved quickly to complete her customers orders. Everythingthat I saw was correctly done I have been in food service over 25 years and this IHOP is one of the best restaurants I've seenfor a while they give you that touch humbleness and take care of your needs I could hear that everyone was helping each otherand the atmosphere as far as the employees was very teamwork oriented. This was my first visit to the much anticipated American restaurant IHOP. I went there with a group of friends early morning and... we were not disappointed. We went there on a fine Saturday morning, and it was packed. A server graciously took us to an emptytable of 6. We ordered coffees, diet coke and typical American breakfast menus. Everything was spot on and what I loved mostabout the place was the American breakfast experience which I craved a lot as a foreigner. The only complaint I would have isabout the price! Being an international student it is a bit pricy so a student discount or a student menu would be appreciated! Read more
The staff was super nice and very efficient. Howeverrrr the place is filthy. The kitchen has piles of dirt and filth in the... corner. The manager was serving a plate with prepackaged creamer and it fell off into the swept pile of dirt and she picked itup and put it back on the plate. Everything tasted like it was plastic and fake. I wanted my minion pancake experience but Ijust feel sick now. Read more
I understand that they are short-staffed. And that would have been an actual factor if there had been people seated and orders... were being taken. But my friend and I (who only wanted coffee) had to wait 15 minutes along with one other group of 3 just to beseated. There were 4 wait staff (two were just coming on) but there was only ONE seated party on the restaurant and they werewell into their meal. It's being accommodating their staffing situation; now it's just laziness. The coffee was good and once wesat, the staff was pleasant enough. But it's time to do better. (and this ridiculous town thinks we need another IHOP just downthe street. ????) Read more
The reason for my 1 star review is the over all employee, management service. Wish I could give them a zero! I called in on... Mother?s Day ordered a family breakfast feast for my wife and mother in law to surprise them with a some breakfast in bed withtheir favorite not so favorite breakfast place anymore, well to start off Ihops phone connection is trash sounds like they areunder water, second off all The person handling the phone orders name is angel, as I proceed to order, Angel up sells me oncheese on top of the eggs.. missing upon opening.. then I get there to pick up my order and I Chk the bag , I ask Angel are yousure this is it because from my view and can clearly see that it did not look like 8 pancakes it was only 4 but he assured meeverything was there. I get home no cheese that you up selled me on.. and surprise missing pancakes thanks ihop for helping mewith Mother?s Day, Then I call them to let them know what the issue was. They told that me corporate was going to refund me mymoney .. to this date I haven?t heard a thing. I will never step foot inside one of these wretched places again. Read more
Waited about 15 minutes at 2am, with no other customers seated eating, before being addressed and seated. You literally have to... ask for ketchup, salt, pepper, jelly, etc. because none is automatically accommodated for you. 2 people order coffee and nopitcher is brought out to you... just one small mug.. food is to be determined... It was super busy but our server was pretty good. Had to wait 30+ mins to get seated but once we were, food came fairly quick.... There was def too much strawberry syrup on my pancakes but i didn't mind so much. Was able to substitute a couple of things. Thefruit was surprisingly pretty sweet and fresh. Read more
I had a pick up order and I had been waiting for over an hour and a half. They were extremely understaffed and only had one... hardworking, newly hired waitress who was very polite and helpful. The only real problem was the cooks. They were constantlyyelling at each other and wouldn?t make anyone?s orders. One chef in particular was making very rude comments towards thewaitress and other cook staff. In the time I waited, two big parties who were looking to eat at the restaurant were not seat andhad walked out due to the long wait. And when I finally got my order, the pancakes were extremely burnt. I will never eat atthis establishment again. Read more
