The food is tasteless. In further detail: The margarita had no citrusy flavor, the salsa was red water and tacos al carbon were... dried doggie biscuits. Read more
This place is absolutely fantastic! You can tell their is nothing but heart and soul in this food. The warm smoky salsa is... unique and full of subtle interesting flavors. The puffy tacos were delicious and not greasy, and the sopapillas will put othersto shame. When we asked for a suggestion, Amy recommended the chipotle enchiladas, they were spot on. It was our first timegoing there and we live right around the corner. Support local great businesses and give them a shot! Read more

Not sure where all these bad reviews are for, food is actually really really good. Yes, it is few staff due to lack of... customers. We did have a server, amazing service, although when there isn’t a server, it’s usually the manager serving you.Don’t be afraid to ask for refills, chips, questions etc. Customers next to us expected everything to be done without asking.They’ll make sure you get what you need if you just ask. If more customers visit, I can see this restaurant grow to a busyone! In honestly I’d prefer this restaurant than other popular Mexican restaurants in San Marcos. Read more

Definitely the worst place to get food, only one other table in there eating ( huge red flag ). I’d rather go to McDonalds and... order off the dollar menu. They basically give you red water for salsa and the food tastes like you’re eating rubber. Highlydisappointed. Read more
