A friend and I went to Cody's for the first time this past Saturday. It was one of the best dining experiences ever! Our... charcuterie board was delish and the fish tacos, so yum! Cody's uses amazing fresh ingredients in both food and drink. Theowner is also amazing, and our server Lilly was fantastic! Definitely recommend Cody's! If you are in this area and do not stop to have a cocktail or dinner here, you are missing out! The staff is attentive,... friendly, and just the kindest people to be around. The cocktails (Kissing Tree is a MUST!) are to die for and the food isbeyond phenomenal. The owner is amazing too and makes you feel like family. I’d rate this place higher if I could. Truly thebest. At night, I love the candlelight. It's a cozy, romantic place. Definitely other diners near you. But I really like the coziness.... The candle and lighting can be seen in drink photo. I've been twice. The 14 oz bone-in pork chop has been great both times.Biting into a piece with crispy bacon jam on the top. OMG, heaven! I don't know a single thing about short rib. No idea whatit's supposed to be. But It was very, very tender. I had the butternut squash risotto twice. 1st time, knocked it out of thepark. Fantastic! So incredibly rich and creamy. Not runny, not dry. SO much flavor! Parmigiano reggiano really stands out.Pancetta taste and texture was perfect. 2nd time it was too dry. More sticky than creamy. Pancetta was chewy. I can't believe it took this long to discover Cody's Restaurant Bar & Patio. Located in a small shopping center, it... inconspicuously sits. Once you enter, the decorations here give off a really groovy music scene vibe. One look at the menu andyou know Cody's don't mess around. Duck Poutine & the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare were our appetizers and did not disappoint. ThePoutine would make our friend's in the Great White North envious. The Tuna Tartare was fresh, delicious and has a slight hint ofmelon taste which surprises you, but makes you want more. They were serving a lunch menu, so I opted for the Heartbrand AkaushiShort Rib Sandwich. Amazing! They take dry-aged Akaushi ribs and cook sous vide for 24 hours. Add some Gruyere, caramelizedonions and mushrooms and served on a Ciabatta roll. Say what? We happened upon this place after running errands and oh my Goodness is it delicious! We had my 7 month old daughter with us and... the wait staff went CRAZY for her! The atmosphere is chic and cozy, the libations are well crafted and flavorful. We recommendtrying The Kissing Tree and Sean Connery. The Champagne Green Salad with chicken was so yummy! My partner got the B.L.A.T andadded a fried egg and that put the sandwich over the top! Dessert, which ended up stealing the show, was a carrot Cheesecaketopped with caramel and bacon and it was So scrumptious and not overly sweet!
