This was a great stop..atmosphere was excellent and the people were so friendly! The food was melt in your mouth delicious. Will... be back on our next roadtrip. Oh and you must try the peach cobbler. Read more
Just a great Texas BBQ restaurant. Although they do have more than the usual number of sides to choose from. I had the beef rib.... Too big to pick up and eat but the meat just falls apart with very little prodding with a plastic fork. The usual help yourselfpickles, onions, and bread. The coleslaw was especially tasty. Best pork ribs I've ever had. Really enjoyed my experience here. The barbecue smell permeates the restaurant and captivates you... as you walk in the door. This felt like the quintessential Texas barbecue place and is my new favorite BBQ restaurant in thestate. Lots of side options and they cut the meat right in front of you. Pork ribs were incredible. The lean brisket waspretty dry so I'd suggest the fatty brisket instead. Potato salad was good, skip the baked beans as they were rathertasteless. Don't sleep on this BBQ restaurant! Also don't let the name on the outside fool you into thinking it's not the same! We didn't... get a chance to hit up the Austin location, but we are glad that they have branched out! The Brisket was delicious and tender(that's the advantage of the fatty side!), The ribs fell off the bone and melted in our mouths! The sides that we had were greatas well! Also if you have a sweet tooth the cobbler was not too sweet and had plenty of Dough/crust for those of us who love it!The apple pie/cobbler was great as well! Read more
