I rarely review anything but this location has frustrated me so many times I want to warn others. their espresso machine is... "broken" about half the time, which you don't find out until after waiting 15 min in line. Read more

20 minutes from where we live in Escondido, we love this newly built El Norte location. Mgr Erica and her crew ALWAYS courteous... and smiling. Don't have enough words to describe this.....but while 2 other Starbucks are closer to where we live, efficient,happy staffers make this worth the extra time getting there. Whether it's our regular Saturday a.m. lattes, delicious breakfastsandwiches, a chocolate croissant or other eats, always tasty visits here. Multiplied kudos to Erica.....rock on, girl! Went there today, 8:30am. Waited 30 minutes for my drink which unfortunately doesn't compare to my issue with what happened... later. I specified coconut milk for my drink because I am very lactose intolerant. I saw them poor from what looked like a milkgallon, but I figured maybe they have gallons of coconut milk. It didnt taste or have the same consistency like it usually does.Less than an hour later I was in so much pain, stuck on the toilet, I had to miss work today. My first visit to this license store yielded my drink made incorrectly and the barista seemed annoyed at being there; no smile... and a terse verbal exchange when ordering. As such, I have avoided this store.This trip yielded, yet again, my drink made wrong.Refusing to accept it this time, I requested it be remade. This isn't a difficult drink; iced coffee, light Brea. Please be patient while getting your drinks! Most of the time it?s just a person or two working, so if you have lots of orders... go to an actual Starbucks store and if you don?t, maybe try to tip! I have gone to this location numerous times throughout theyears, and I?ve had a good experience except for when there?s delays but that?s when there?s lots of people.
