Normally love the food here. But this time .... my steak kabobs were burnt and literally crispy. the burnt taste over power the... Normally great taste . The chicken was dry and tough to chew . Over all disappointed. the food is pricey compared to my go toMediterranean spot but i enjoy the location cause the food is Normally worth it . was excited to treat my self to tasty foodjust to be given some bs I didn't finish the plate. Wow, what an exceptional place to get some very yummy food. Red was very polite and professional and gave me some suggestions on... what I might want to go with the meal choices that I have chosen. The restaurant was very clean and neat. And The staff was verypleasant. I really haven't had a whole lot of experience with Mediterranean food. However, my son and his wife have had. Andthey confirm that the food that we had was absolutely exceptional. A very good value for what we paid. If you get a chance togo, I would definitely suggest that you go and take your family as well. Read more
The menu hasn't changed. But prices up 50 percent in 4 years. Unfortunately my chicken kabobs were put on the grill and not... taken off until all dried out and tough to chew. 4 falafel balls in the platter is a poor value. Rice and salad, hummus whichis good. Best Mediterranean food in Escondido hands down. You will pay around $15 for a meal and it is worth every penny. Simple... ingredients executed perfectly. This place has ruined every other Mediterranean spot for me. You can't go wrong with the tri-tipplate. Read more
1st time and I ordered the Mediterranean salad with tri tip. For $10 you get a Delicious salad that can feed two people very... well. Quiet atmosphere, the two employees there are very helpful very nice and can answer any questions that you have abouttheir menu. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be coming back for more. By the way the salad was AWESOME!! Read more
Food is nothing to rave about, especially if you're vegetarian. We left feeling so unsatisfied and thinking we paid $34 for two... dishes. The next day, me, my wife and child all threw up a lot. Thinking it was the "sticky" rice which shouldn't have beensticky. That's Japanese, not Mediterranean. Rice most likely super old. Never coming back. Read more
