Update: Reply to the Owner: You're right, I did order from doordash, but door dash did not make my food, BOUDIN did. They were... just the middle man of delivering something you mistakenly made from the start, then had my second meal thrown together and itwas not satisfactory at all. Terrible of you to put blame on another company. I used to eat at the one in Encinitas and theywere sooo good, but they closed down. I recently just ordered from the one in San Marcos through DoorDash. Boudin gave my dasherthe wrong order, and when DoorDash contacted the restaurant to remake my order, I receive a grilled cheese, that BARELY had ANYcheese on it and a tomato soup that was ice cold. I feel like who ever received the message made my order with anger. I'm verydispleased and will not be ordering from this place again. Read more
Not good! I ordered at the kiosk and waited about 20 minutes for my order. No one called my order out and it was sitting on the... counter with the order details, facing away from the customers. The price is not worth the quality. The bread is good! But therest of the ingredients tasted poorly prepared. There were only two cooks in the kitchen making about 15 different orders at thesame time. The workers did not acknowledge customers who were waiting for their orders. Dirty tables everywhere with tons offood left on the plates. The garlic bread tasted good but it looked like they melted Mexican style cheese on top. Not to be rude but the first experience I thought I just ordered the wrong sandwich, I was hungry, so I finished it. Honestly... could have been a pre-made sandwich from 7/11 but you could tell the bread was better than average. My second experience, whichis the reason I came to the reviews... is because a few days later I decided to give it another shot because I lovesandwiches. First time to try Boudin and it did not disappoint! 4 of us had the soup in a bread bowl, one had chili in a bread bowl and one... had salad with a side of soup. Everything was great tasting, very satisfying, and we plan on returning soon. The sourdough breadwas the best!! Read more
Very disappointed tonight. ordered the toasted chicken club a clam chowder deal. After taking two bites I realized there was no... chicken and returned. They made it again and hardly toasted. I think one slice of bread not even toasted. I didn?t complain,just ate it. Now for the dirty and unswept floors, terrible. My Italian Classic was good. The bread was so fresh. The salad had a bit too much dressing though. Service was great. The indoor... dining area was very clean. The outside patio looked okay but it was crowded. Read more
I'm a fan of Boudin's food. I find it's a bit fresher than most places. We came to this location, and the dining room smelled... terrible. We wore masks when we ordered from the automatic kiosk, and had not noticed how bad it was. The floors were dirty andsticky. Their serving counter was dirty. The coffee was old and burned. Our orders didn't come exactly correct, but food seemedokay. I worried the whole time about the hygiene of the place and food. I'd like to see this place improve, it's the closest oneto me. Read more
