Reviews for Aria Restaurant in San Marcos, CA
Best Persian food I've ever had! Chicken and Beef kabob combo platter was tender and well-seasoned. Hummus was smooth and... tasty, and pita was served warm and soft. Try the sumac seasoning that's on the table too, it has a fruity/citrus flavor to it! Read more
I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and it?s always top notch. The restaurant is clean and well Decorated, staff is... very professional and kind and food comes out fast and delicious. I am editing this review because Google doesn't let me write aseparate review. This review comes after we ordered from Aria thru DoorDash. I am not taking away stars because I don't want tohurt their ratings and my in restaurant experience has always been excellent. They need to modify the way they put the food inplastic bags for the driver to carry. Out two Ash was put in on top of the two foods and half of one of the ash was all overeverything and it was a mess.Soups and Ash should be in their own bag separate from the food. There was no dressing for thesalads . Read more
Excellent service and fantastic cuisine. I love Persian food and don't get it nearly enough here in Washington. While enjoying... our time in Funner at the Harrah's Resort, my husband and I decided to venture out as the dining options are limited at thecasino. We made reservations at 7 pm on Saturday night and we were seated immediately. The menu has all the traditional fare ofthe middle east and the prices were very, very reasonable. It's nice to see when many of the restaurants,as a result of Covid, have forced restaurants to raise the prices. We started the meal with the Tahdig and the Shirazi salad. Both dishes were wellproportioned and very good. We ordered the Barg and the Beef Koobideh and both were excellent. The Barg was seasoned perfectlyand the Koobideh was as tender as it should be. So much so that a knife was not needed. We always look forward to the Persianice cream and we tried a dessert I was not familiar with, faloodah. Faloodah is a granita with rice and noodles flavored withrose water and lime and it was just as delicious as the ice cream. Aria has a nice wine list with prices so low I was surprised!A glass of Smoking Loon Cabernet was only$7 when most places charge 9 to upwards of $15! We also enjoyed the Persian tea withour dessert. The entire bill, appetizers, two full dinners which also came with a salad, wine, desserts, hot tea for two wasless than a $100. A great experience and worth the drive for this wonderful restaurant. I hope we are able to come back soon.Thank you! Read more
The food was delicious! Reasonably priced and great portions. The atmosphere was formal and we were a little under dressed but... they were very welcoming either way. Looking forward to coming back and trying more options. Read more

Fantastic food and excellent service! Solid Persian food experience. Good people out there! My favorite: Dizi and Combo Dish
We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. Three of us for lunch, service was very courteous and prompt and treated us... very well. We had shish kabob with hot bread, and one of their stews. Paul were very good. A stand outside dish was therehummus, which is a wonderful garlic flavor and it's just perfectly seasoned. We had the saffron ice cream for dessert and it isto die for. Seriously seriously good. Recommended. Read more
I love persian food and am always looking for some. I just moved into the area and this was the first place I found. Walking in... it was very fancy looking, which was expected. What I wasn't expecting was how expensive everything was going to be. I sawanother review with a menu and it was several dollars cheaper. That was disappointing, but at least I could still eat somepersian food! I ordered my favorite, chicken koobideh and my friend ordered the gyrro. The koobideh was moist but the flavor wasvery weak. For the price it was a very small piece of koobideh. :( The rice was kind of dry. I did like the charred tomato. Itwasn't bad, but it overall could have been a lot better. I tried the gyrro and that was pretty good! The portion for that wasmuch better than the koobideh. It ended up being about $15 per order and for the amount of food and quality of food, it wasn'tworth it for me. Service was good, we were served fast and the waiters were very kind to us. ????? ?? ?? ???? ?????? ?? ????????? ??. ????? ?? ???? ?????? ????? ????????? ??? ??? ??? ?????? ???? ????... ????? ?? ??? ???.
