Please don't let the bad reviews stop you from checking out this chicken joint. We showed up about 330 on a Thursday and it... wasn't busy. The food was cooked quickly and presentation is 10/10. Our cashier was friendly and asked every customer if theyneeded anything when picking up their order. I read others saying the chicken was salty but l think that varies betweeneveryone's tastebuds. I had the mild flavor and it was tasty and salt didn't overpower the flavor. My husband had hot and mediumand he preferred hot. The slaw has a great taste! The pickles taste kosher and perfect crunch. The dipping sauce has a yummytang to it. Also can't beat smaller cubed ice shapes! We will definitely be back. Come check it out and be kind. The staff was great, location clean and food arrived quickly. We ordered extra hot and reaper and signed the waiver. It seems... like the waiver is more of a gimmick since it wasn't as much hot as it was... unpleasant. Reaper tested like the extra hotflavor but covered in cayenne pepper power so the texture was grainy and tasted a bit like dirt. On the other hand, the extrahot chicken had well blended seasoning that was actually tasty while delivering some heat. I would love to see them carry ranchas a side instead of the pink mayonnaise. Awesome food. The flavors are exceptional. Very friendly staff. I've had the extra hot and hot. Both have an awesome flavor... while packing a good amount of heat. I've heard great things about the less spicy options. This is a very unique hot chickenthat's very different, and in my opinion, superior to the more traditional hot chickens. Read more
I was very excited to try this new place out. I absolutely love chicken sandwiches. Well I was very disappointed. Portions are... good. Fries are ok. I got the #3 slider with chicken tender on the side and extra hot for spice level. For someone that lovesspicy food this wasn?t very spicy. It was extremely salty, way over seasoned. All I could taste was seasoning. Like a salt lick.I couldn?t eat much of it. My wife got hers with no spice and that was a bit better but no flavor. We also got a side of mac ncheese. Chicken is flavorful, Plump, Juicy, and Fried perfectly. Breading stays on for every bite. Give it a try. Won't disappoint
It was ok. The reaper was not very spicy neither was the extra hot. We?ve tried the location in Indio CA as well as one in LA.... Both locations were awesome! Just seemed very light on the heat. They even make sure you sign the reaper waiver. For us nowaver should have been required. Overall the restaurant was nice inside and out. We?ll try again in a few. Give them time getthe spice down. Went today for lunch. It is busy but well staffed. And the staff is very nice. I ordered the sliders. Got them ?hot.? I did a... little pre-research and thought I would like hot but not the ?reaper? version. Hot is HOT!! I really enjoyed it but might tryMedium next time. The food is delicious. It might seem expensive, but the reality is two people could share one of the meals ?especially the slider meal. I ordered my fries ?well done? and highly recommend that. So good.
