Went for a late night meal and service was challenged. Quite a few people but not enough to not even start service. We sat for... 45min before we had to ask the busser for water who really didn't understand English. We sat for another 10 min after a fairlylarge party left before I called the Hayward Denny's to check their restaurant. We ended up leaving after still not receivingservice. My wife ordered some appetizers and I ate some too. Everything was really cooked to perfection from the onion rings,fried thick... cut french fries and crispy chicken wings, and mozzarella sticks were delicious. My Granddaughter had a cheese burger,Mac andcheese with sliced bananas and her hamburger looked really big for a kids burger and she liked it. My other Granddaughter hadpan cakes, breakfast sausage and grapes and she enjoyed her meal. I had a half order of nacho cheese chips with hamburger meatand it was pretty good sized portion. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and very polite but she missed some stufffrom our order but she brought it to us when we told her. Overall it was a great experience for me and my daughter always bringsmy granddaughters here to eat and I can understand why. The service was excellent and the food was great and was clean. Finally get to have a steak and unfortunately I get a burnt shoe that taste like cardboard! I call them and can't understand a... word the manager is saying. It took 45 minutes until I went up and said is my order ready yet, than they can't find my orderthat My boyfriend paid for already. The waitress had to ring up my order again. Never order food from here at pick-up withoutlooking to see what you got. I ordered medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and zucchini $27.00 dollars later andit's burnt. Very unprofessional staff. I requested condiments and the young lady told me I should of requested with meal and walks away. The... phone rang when I was standing there and she hung up in somebody's face they called back she took the phone off the hook. I didnot get the young lady's name but she was Hispanic and she was really rude and mean to all at the customers that came in Iunderstand she was busy but you still have to have some kind of professionalism especially when you eating somewhere.
