Ordered two plates, one chicken and one sirloin. The chicken was good enough, but I got two beans. On the sirloin plate, the... rice looked to be packed in the container from the day before and there was a taco?s worth of meat and the rest was onion. For$12 it was a ripoff. New: I really appreciate that this location took the time to speak with me about what went wrong on my last visit. The next time... I returned they were very polite as before and the drive through was still fast. The food was much better this time around interms of portion and value. I will return in the future if it continues like this. . . . Old: Terrible value. Just went bytoday and the tacos were stuffed full of rice. Hardly any meat. Overpriced food that will leave you hungry. The fideo was goodand the service was great for drive through, but paying $20 for rice tacos is ridiculous enough to keep me from returning andI'll certainly tell others it's not worth dropping by this place. If i can rate this place a 0 i would. I go to this location because it is the closest to my home but every time i go they mess... up my order! I ask and pay for extra tortillas every single time and they never give them! I constantly have to get off myvehicle and show them my receipt so they can give me the tortillas and the manager never seems to get after his kitchen crew tofix the issue! I always visit a Taco Palenque when visiting family in the RGV. This location was great! They had the plenty of chips. Their... salsa bar was stocked with a variety of salsas with the green avocado salsa being my favorite as usual. They had grilledjalapeños with onions, pickled onions, pickled sliced jalapeños, radishes, chopped fresh jalapeños, lemons, & limes. Theyhave some of the best jamaica and horchata around. Their guacamole is always fresh, the corn tortillas were so fresh and tastedgreat. They have great fajitas and enchiladas too! I wanted to treat my husband dinner for his birthday, he chose Taco Palenque went to pick up some panchitos and omgee this is a... joke! Never going back to this place, they obviously don't appreciate business. Not one bean on those panchitos and the sirloinwas hard. Called manager, we'll give you credit!
