Although im only a fan of the chili cheese fry's I tried the root beer float and it was pretty good.
My wife and I met to grab some lunch before we parted ways back to our respective responsibilities. My wife asked me what I... wanted, and I looked over and saw the $7.95 special of 3 hot dogs and three corn dogs or a mix and match. They served itquickly. The Meal was delicious. Note, you do have to ask for condiments, a straw, and napkins. If you don't, they will notprovide them per California Law, unless you ask. Not too many of this fast food joints. A iconic building brings you a mental flash from the past. If you like Weinerschnitzel,... then this is the spot. A drive thru building, order and pick-up all in one swoop. The menu really hasn't changed, hotdogs -ballpark style, Chile cheese dogs, bowl of Chile, fries, chili fries w/ cheese. The location is blocks from downtown San Joseand is open late into the nite. There is a fantastic mural by local artists, great for photo- ops.
