I've always been a huge fan of "Vitality Bowls" ever since they first opened their first location in the Bay Area back in the... early 2010's. Their focus emphasizes more on "health" compared to other smoothie shops such as "Jamba Juice" that has moresugars in their products. The location I am focusing on is their East Brokaw Road in San Jose, CA. This particular location isin a very busy retail area so parking could be difficult to find. During my visit which was on 3/6/2021 at around 3:30pm, thesafety guidelines were strictly enforced. All customers were required to wear a face covering upon entry and the business wasallowing only one customer at a time. The inside of this location is small to begin with so it just doesn't offer a lot of roomto gather around in a large group. As people know, Vitality Bowls focuses on their smoothies, juices, breakfast bowls, coffees,and acai bowls. But they also have a nice selection of salads, soups, and panini sandwiches. During my visit, I ordered their"Temptation" smoothie which uses organic acai, coconut milk, strawberries, bananas, organic cacao, and dark chocolate. It's aperfect blend of ingredients that is uniquely different from the more fruit-inspired smoothies. As I mentioned, the enforcedsocial distancing assured of a safe experience and the employees were assuring that everything runs as smooth as possible. Fromthe time I was ready to order to when my smoothie was ready took only about 6 minutes. And your order can be expedited withmobile ordering through the Vitality Bowls app which also earns you points and discounts towards a future purchase. With all ofthis combined with excellent service, I am giving the E. Brokaw Road "Vitality Bowls" a solid four star rating. Read more
This is my go-to location for Vitality Bowls. The employees are always welcoming, and the interior is well-kept. I have noticed... a slight price hike in the menu prices over time, but considering the quality of the food prepared, it is difficult to complain.Because of my poor experiences at the Cottle Road and Vallco Parkway locations, I am loyal to visiting the Brokaw Road location.Although I have received açaí bowls not fully packed on two (2) of my visits, the bowls on every other visit I have made here(roughly ten visits) are consistently filled to the top. On my last visit to this location, the bananas in the Vitality Bowls Iordered were overripe and mushy, but after emailing this location, I received a prompt and professional response from the ownerLuisa who apologized and offered to remake the Vitality Bowls free of charge on my next visit. Excellent food and outstandingservice paired with cleanliness keep me coming back. I highly recommend visiting this specific location if you're ever in SanJose. Read more
Perfect for healthy meal. I love their fruit bowls. They use acai in all their bowls and smoothies which is such a great... ingredient for taste and antioxidants. I tried their tropical bowl and temptation smoothie. Both were just amazing. Read more
They upsell you on the expensive proteins (+$3 for turkey), then forget to include it. I paid $15.30 for this pile of spinich.... I'd estimate I could make this for less than a dollar, in 20 seconds. The store was compeltely empty, they were not busy atall. Even if they didn't leave out the protein, this pile of nothing would not be worth it at all. They just use tackymarketing about being "healthy" when the secret apparently is to just not give you any food. Read more
