Their Naked Burrito (bowl) was nowhere near as delicious and as big as Chipotle's. The pickled carrots, onions,... had no... flavors. Furthermore, the place was not clean, i.e., dirty tray, food stuck on a chair (at table we were sitting inside therestaurant), a dirty coffee mug (with dried sauce in it) at the counter. When are they open: Senor Jalapeno opens for lunch every weekday to serve the local professionals working in the area.... Establishment: Its a place to grab a quick bite for under $10 per person. The place is small and can fit roughly 20 dine-inpatrons. There are seats outside to enjoy your food that is shared with three other food establishments neighboring SenorJalapeno. However, most people that go here like to grab and go. Most of their meats are precooked like most Mexican fast casualestablishments so that means the preparation of your food takes very little time. Time to go: The lines here move pretty quickand the peak time when this place gets busy is your standard lunch hours of 12 to 1pm. Expect to wait 10 minutes in line beforebeing served during this time. Recommendations: If you're in a hurry, grab a burrito. If you have time, definitely get the 'MexPhilly' burrito because its made to order. They grill up fresh onions, bell peppers, and pickled jalapenos and put that as atopping in your burrito. I order Chili Verde with rice and beans. Waited a half hour, while others came and left. The cashier said I gave you your food.... "No" I said I had been sitting right in front of her, no excuses. When they finally gave me something it was a chicken burrito.I will never return to this establishment! Since posting this I was contacted the owner, and offered a reimbursement. Inegotiated with them, and anticipate a check to arrive in the mail. So I guess I will return to actually get what I originallyordered. Fine place for quality mexican food. Dropped in on Tues. I will be bringing family next time. Bring your hunger - portions are... filling. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed. Read more
