Love their chicken and the Cajun rice is back! My new default...4pc spicy chicken dinner!
I was told many times by family and friends to try this Popeyes eatery. I finally did. I walked in and there was a ton of... chicken in warmers. I wanted to order almost $20 in chicken nuggets (small chicken pieces) and fries... I asked the cashier if Ican get all the food fresh. I asked him 3 different ways and he replied yes... 3 times. My order came. I checked it. Fries werecold. Felt as if they had been out for more than 15 mins. Not even lukewarm. The chicken was also cold and super extra cooked. Itold a different cashier and he said... "oh I don't know, ask this other guy...then he shouts " I don't know... but she wants itfresh" and he walked away toward the back and another guy not dressed like the 2 cashiers came out. Told him the issue... that Iasked and wanted fresh chicken and fries. Was told yes. "Manager" was adamant that the food was cooked fresh but refused totouch my boxed food. Kept saying he is not allowed to touch our food... He argued for 15 mins and refused to give money back.Finally after telling him that we were recommended to go there. He said... I guess I can cook u fresh food but its gonna take 10mins... by that time, I was over the whole incident ... I asked for my money back. He slammed my money on the counter totallyunprofessional. There was only 1 lady and a couple at the tables already eating. It was around 6-7pm no reason to have so muchchicken or argue with customer. Manager was very rude and not professional... Ordered a chilled lemonade. Got home a saw something at the bottom. Pulled it out with a straw. Turned out to be a worm. Called... store and was told I needed to drive back there for a ?replacement?. Hello...ok I got the 12 pkg chicken, I asked the very nice cashier to please give only 1 chicken breast (Dislike the breast, too... dry) so she did, but she took the time to break down the pieces I wanted, that was above and beyond customer service! So Popeyesmaybe you should start offering tips jars or a way to tip cause working in food service is hard as (beep) ????. Update: everytime I decide to try this place again it get worse. This is their idea of a three piece meal (see pictures) Food... is great as always. HOWEVER, do not expect much when it comes to service. They have a real knack for hiring Stoner kids or atleast ones that act that way. Read more
came here when it wasn?t busy, ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, cashier told me 9 minutes. over an hour later they still hadn?t... made my order, idk if it was cause i was the only black person in the restaurant but they served every single person after me.when i came up and asked what was going on with my order, they simply looked at me and gave out two more spicy chickensandwiches to other people who ordered after me. ended up getting a refund and no food Read more
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered the $8.99 chicken for 2 on there app. Order was 5 pieces of chicken, 2 sides and 2... biscuits. What I got was 3 pieces of chicken, so was short changed and this was after waiting over 15 minutes for my order, Iguess they can?t count. I also called but nobody answered the phone, I guess unless you calling on there personal cell phonethey don?t know how to answer a land line phone. Read more
