The brown rice is still raw and not cooked enough. Anyway. The brown rice is too hard to chew. I met this situation several... times in the past. I visited this location on January 24. 2020. First time to this location because usually visit the one located in the Westgate... mall. Ordered my usual plate to have it for dinner. First thing it was more expensive than on Westgate (like 3 dollarsdifference). Drove to my apartment like 10 minutes from them. Placed it in the fridge while I finished my stuff and thinking mydinner was going to be great (like all the times I buy from Westgate mall). To my surprise the moment I opened the lidsomething was not right. Smelled very different, like rancid food. I took a bite and just threw it in the trash can. Probablya one off event... but personally not returning to this one. This was my experience not meaning to talk bad about any business,however, with raw fish/seafood you have to be very careful with handling/temperature. Read more
I have been ordering here at least once a week. Previous orders on uber eats and in store purchase orders are excellent. I had... ordered twice lately and both orders are a disappointment. Notes to store were not followed, soggy meats, small portion for amedium order. Whoever the store manager is that noon time should be made aware of this. Issue is not the refund but the qualityequal to the price being paid. Read more
My daughter came across this poke place and decided to try it out and took home and plan to enjoy it today. To make it easy for ... choice, I ordered original Salmon with original selected veggie and source - Plus pineapple additional. What I got when Iopened it just salmon and few bites of pineapple/green onion pieces no biggie or source nothing else ?! I have been chargedfull price for a box of rice and tasteless salmon and pineapple :( I should get refund for this. Would not recommend especiallyfor how much they charge. It?s Better to just get Ike?s sandwiches around the corner. Read more

When it comes to poke, I?ve always had my big bowl with eel sauce and lots of salad mix in NYC. Visiting San Jose, I tried the... poke here just because of my love for poke, but the taste here disappointed me. They also did not have the large variety ofsauce that I enjoyed so much back in NYC, especially the eel sauce. The selections for veggies here were also limited comparedto what I used to have with equal price. In NYC, the guacamole did not come with an extra cost either. My bowl here came out sopretty though, but it was quite too salty to me. This is really not my spot for poke. Read more
