Food 4/5 Service -1/5 We closed the place down because the service was so poor. Took us 3 hours to get out of this place. I... don’t think they meant to provide such poor service, I just don’t think that they are a typical restaurant staff. Very nicepeople, but I think if I were to revisit I would order to go. They couldn’t figure out what we each ordered so we had to splitthe bill evenly. Food was decent. That was my first time eating Ethiopian. I wish this business well, but please improve yourservice. Well what can I say…. Definitely an interesting experience. I am a big fan of Indian food so I’ve been told several times... that Ethiopian has some similar flavors and are very rich in spices as well. The only thing I didn’t like was that the breadto eat and scoop the food with was cold. I was told that this is the traditional way of eating but I was not a fan of eating hotfood with cold bread. The staff was friendly and very informative when I was making my selections. The reason this place isgetting a 3 stars is because it was a bit dirty. They definitely should do some kind of spring cleaning there. It only made meimagine how the kitchen is and what type of hygiene is enforced in the kitchen. I definitely don’t mind eating in a modest lowkey restaurant. But hygiene is everything!!! Read more

Absolutely loved the Ethiopian cuisine. Has a striking similarity to South Indian cuisine. We each had a Sambussa ( more like a... Samosa but with lentil filling ) and 2 Vegetarian combos for the 3 of us, and it was more than filling. The Ingeras are anhealthier option since it’s made of Teff. The sides that were offered with the combo were pretty good. Customer service isexcellent. Scan the QR code attached for the menu options. Definitely recommended ? Read more

Another of the many understated San Jose neighborhood joints--really, a hidden treasure. Have come here quite a few times, but... yesterday was the first since the beginning of the pandemic. Glad to see that it's still the same. Great food, friendly andrelaxed service. Read more
