We really enjoy their banh mi sandwiches, baguettes and smoothies. There may be other shops around, but this is our "go to" for... deliciousness. We typically order 2 sandwiches each so we can enjoy one immediately and save the other to enjoy the followingday. Even with ordering 2, it is still a better deal than buying 1 at most of the sandwich chains. Yum! Read more

Had the chicken sandwich. Not even close to being as good with the many that I?ve had at other Bihn mih sandwich locations. The... veggies were not dilled as they should be for this sandwich. The baguette was good but failed as a sandwich ????. Pooringredients makes It a $2 sandwich! Read more

Quintessential is a cliche adjective when it comes to food, except as it applies to Lee's. San Jose's role in the Vietnamese... diaspora is significant, and if I force any more fifty cent words into this review there won't be space to say "wow, that wasdelicious". Order a sandwich, hell order two and eat half of each, try something new every day for a month. The bread iseverything, and if you're spice tolerant and don't purge the jalapenos you meant to nix when your ordered after your first biteit pairs incredibly well with their heat. The sweetness and crunch of the veggies is tactile and refreshing against thesaltiness of the various meats that are more condiment than focal point. I wish I had one closer to me, but this one isperfectly located for southern bound road trips, just as you escape the urban for the suburban. Drinks are amazing too, I wasshocked to find they don't over sweeten their teas. Best Thai Tea I have had in a long time. Read more

This is probably the worst Lee's Sandwiches shop I've been to. The bread used for sandwiches isn't always fresh and the food is... a hit or miss, but usually a miss. - Banh Mi: Bread was okay. They skimp out on the filling so there's barely any meat, veggies, and pate. - Croissant Sandwich: Barely any meat and the bread was stale. - Fresh Spring Rolls: This was also old. Thewrapper was dry and the noodles were hard. Read more

Banh mi from Lee is great, but I'm missing a meatball from mine. Only 3?

Absolutely, without any doubt, Lee's, particularly THIS LEE'S, is the best Vietnamese Sandwich Deli in California, and probably... anywhere outside of Vietnam. My favorite sandwich is the combo on a baguette. Try them all, they're all great. Read more
