Let me start by saying what an excellent foray into a different food culture. I can’t even pronounce the region this food is... from, but I didn’t really care, the chicken wrap that I got was really good. Be prepared for a lot of napkins because it is amessy dish but the flavors were amazing. The downside was the beef Sam something or another had to have been left over fromlunch as the picture shows the interior was completely dried out and you could almost break a tooth trying to eat it. this willnot detour My culinary pallet from going back as years in the restaurant industry, I know things happen. Nice cozy atmosphere, well Persian decorated restaurant. Foods was great, well marinated. I had the lamb chop and I was really... happy with it. Noodles and Salads were great too. My friends ordered for me. Some of the dishes I do not know. You can seethe pix I posted here. They have beers too. Group meals should be great. Large parking in the back. Quick and attentiveservers. I have to give this place the rating it deserves, I saw a review of this place on tiktok while traveling to San Jose. I ordered... the Big Plate Chicken, the 2 piece Beef Samsa and the KatKat for Dessert. I enjoyed it all. The flavors were definitely uniqueand a perfect level of spicy. Even though Uygjars live in modern day China it was clear to me that these dishes came from a richand unique background, it wasn't anything like Chinese food. I will definitely try Uyghar food again if I find another gem likethis place. I wasn't a fan of the dessert but it was tasty overall. I don't usually eat cake after a meal because it's usuallyvery heavy, so that's a personal preference so I kept the 5 stars. The service was amazing, the people running this placedeserve recognition ????. Kind and straight forward. I'm not a fan of phone ordering because I feel like it loses thatnostalgia and many people do struggle ordering what they want through their phones. A wonderful experience I wish others canenjoy ???? This place is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, we drove here and parking is a bit weird. It’s on the back of the... building and looks like it’s someone’s private driveway. We ordered via QR code which is convenient. The portions weresmaller than I expected (samsa, lamb sticks, naan). In pictures it looked bigger. The food is good for one time, but honestly Iwould not come back. Overall, not the best experience I’ve had with food. Read more

Nice lil restaurant near San Jose airport Has a hole-in-the-wall kind of feeling since it's just randomly in the middle of the... road next to 101, but a great choice for lunch after picking someone up from the airport Would recommend the polo for summer asit comes with yogurt and it's a good contrast of cooling yogurt and warm seasoned lamb and beef. The lamb kebabs were alsogrilled excellently. No gamey-ness, seasoned well, and nice big juicy chunks. One small want would be coat it in fennel seeds,though that may be more of a Chinese preference.
