Mazemen Style (Broth-less) Ramen. We were not sure if we would like it while we went for it, but we loved it, wanna try... different style of ramen?, go for it. We took the OG Ramen and they made it vegan for us by replacing the meat with impossiblemeat, which to our surprise was good. Overall it was amazing. Don?t forget to follow the ?How to eat Mazemen Ramen? ;) Also, doget the complementary scoop of rice, you will need out to slurp the sauce at the end!! We?ll come back soon to try Donburi andother Ramen! Read more

It can be explained as mixed ramen bowl without soup. I tried it one time at Solvang but not so impressed until I tried this. If... you can?t stand garlic and onions, it?s a little bit disappointed because it has a lot of garlic and onions. Well, you haveoptions for less, midi or more garlic and onions anyway. One thing I don?t like at most of reman shops is the noodles is verysalty, but this is not, it?s smooth and chewy. The sauces going with this is vinegar, perfect sweet and sour to mix with thenoodles. You can pour little by little until it reaches your taste. I poured a whole cup into it so it a little bit sour butstill very good. Read more

Dry ramen noodle. I would say this place is just okay. Nothing special about the Ramen and their drinks are way too sweet. Even... the recommendations to make it 50% sweetness. Eating ramen without any broth just makes you want the broth even more. Theyshould offer people the ability to add broth. It's a hard pass for me to go back here again. Read more

First time I?ve ever had brothless Ramen was from this place and now I?m hooked. I probably come here at least once a week since... it?s nearby to get my noodle and milk tea fix for the week. Both the food and the drinks are A+ so high recommendation from me!???????? Read more

I like the Peach Bum fruit tee, but the noodles are really just food truck quality. They come in plastic bowls with single use... utensils. The sauce is very thick and strong, which taste good for the first few bites, but too much for the entire meal. Icouldn?t finish mine. Read more

Amazing noodle and rice dishes, and great tea and coffee to wash it down with. The food and drinks are always delicious and... consistent, and if you're in the know, you can get the best jerky as well. It's become a favorite spot for my friends and I. Read more

The first and only spot you can get Mazemen ramen, otherwise known as "broth-less ramen", in the Bay Area! I'm so glad this... place opened up because it's such a unique (and yummy) concept! Mazemen is a delicious Japanese ramen with no broth. Instead, you have thick noodles topped with a variety of garnishes such as meat, egg, scallions, etc. It's served with flavorful sauce onthe bottom and is meant to be mixed all together, almost like a bibimbap. At Kensho Social, the mazemen is served withcomplimentary rice, seasoned vinegar, and spice. You mix the noodles, adjust seasoning with vinegar and spice, and eat! Onceyou're done with the noodles, you can add the rice afterwards for another meal + to soak in the flavor. It's actually a lot offood. WHAT I ORDERED: 1. OG mazamen ($13.95): served with ground pork, poached egg, seaweed, crispy shallot, and garlic. Youcan choose your garlic level and I love garlic so I obviously chose "heavy". This was my favorite mazemen! Very savory + rich inumami. It kind of reminds me of mee goreng. 2. Tan Tan Mazemen ($15.95): this one wasn't my favorite but still tasted verygood. It's vinegar-y and sweet. I tasted some sesame paste that makes it creamy as well. Service was amazing. You order at thefront and find a seat inside or outside. The owner came up to us and asked us if we've ever tried Mazemen before and explainedthe whole concept + his vision. It was amazing to see the passion translate into the food. TLDR: Innovative concept and theonly one in the Bay Area. It's worth trying at least once since the food is reasonably priced and yummy! Read more
