Cozy ramen bar located in the Oakridge mall in Almaden valley, San Jose. Please note there is no entrance to the restaurant from... the inside of the mall. You will have to get outside and walk a few feet along the sidewalk. The restaurant itself is prettynicely set up and has both inside and outdoor seating and a bar as well. Food comes out relatively quickly and is fantasticallypresented. I ordered the flying vegan harvest bowl and it was delicious. It had ample protein, choice of 4 different types ofnoodles, and generous amounts of roasted veggies on top. It was simply umami. The place is usually crowded, so expect some waittime. They also take orders on the phone, in case you want a takeout. Read more

This place has been a favorite for ramen noodles. They have like 6 bowls and I've tried 3. My favorite is the tonkatsu and... flying vegan with 2 eggs and mushrooms. The broth is really good. Very clean place. The service is really good. I have neverhad any problems with anything here. Gets very busy during lunch time. Read more

We have been here on a weekday for lunch. It was not so busy, parking was also easy. Liked the outdoor seating near the heater.... Nice ambience. But you have people adjacent to you almost like Bar counter. We tried Spicy Chicken Ramen and Flying VeganHarvest. Chicken chashu can be well done. Vegan meat in flying vegan was just okay. Tofu was quite bland in both of them. Can beFried/Roasted. We define a good ramen where we have the same feeling at the start and finish. This definitely started well butcouldn?t complete on the same note. May be the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen is better. Good that they have two vegan ramen options.Have to try if I get to visit again. This restaurant never disappoints for food and ambience. We had tried the one in Omaha and then we tried here after 3 years.... Exact same quality. And very very delicious. We had spicy vegan ramen. They have good vegetarian options. Highly recommend thisplace! Read more

I visited this place twice. The service is good and quick. I tasted 2 different vegetarian ramen(both spicy). I liked the spicy... creamy vegan ramen better. I'd have liked tofu to be fried/cooked . The tofu they put is super bland. Their outdoor patio hasample space. There will be a little wait when you go for dinners on the weekend. The parking is always full since it's in themall. It's a good try- but not my to-go spot! Read more

First time impression: good. The shop is big enough with the semi-outdoor seatings. Fast seating, friendly stuffs, a menu with... good selections. Ordered cauliflowers and tonkotsu black ramen. The noodle could use a little more texture and thickness. Thebroth isn?t bad, not too salty, oily and rich. I?d say it is a medium broth that should bring up the characteristic a littlemore base on my personal taste. Portion is a little small for me. Will come back and try some other things. Read more

We've been wanting to try this place for a little while and boy it didn't disappoint. Everything was good quality and cooked... very well. The jinya bun was great and melts in your mouth. The ramens we tried were all great and my 2 year old loved herramen. Great place for meat eaters or vegetarians alike. Read more

First time eating @ Jinya and we were pleasantly surprised. The thick almost stew-like broth was flavorful and rich. We chose... pork and chicken, which was very tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the way we like it. We'll definitely be back!Arigatou Gozaimasu. Read more
