I have multiple times had to wait an hour for a small sandwich order. There are three employees working making maybe one... sandwich every two minutes. Then I sat there and they finished the order but left it in the side without calling me for 20minutes. Read more
I should preface that I work in the food industry, so I know the rules the employees should be following. They were not... following a lot of them. The employee making the sandwiches never changed his gloves, even after touching non food items likethe computer. The same employee also used a bread knife to open a box and them immediately turned around and cut some bread.There were no hairnets/coverings being used. And in the 20 minutes I was inside the restaurant I never saw any of the employeeswash their hands after any of the non food related activities or before touching food. I love Ike?s sandwiches. I like their sandwiches but we had to wait a long time for them. And then once i finally got home to eat them, the pickle wasn?t... on the side as ordered and no napkins or candies were in the bag. Bad management just like most other bay area fast foodrestaurants:( Read more
Employees were taking orders with the register and handling physical CASH with the same gloves they were using to make food. If... that wasn't bad enough, one of the employees packed trash into the bin and immediately turned around to continue makingsandwiches with the same glove. Our food came out with a hair in it. Silver lining is that they gave us a full refund afterthrowing it away. Go to a different Ike's location, this one is absolutely gross compared to the others (they also skimped onthe fries).
