Reviews for High Five Pizza in San Jose, CA
At some point I expected a moose on the wall... The decor is very Redwoods. The food is amazing. Service is perfect (mostly... pickup at a window unless you ask them to deliver to table). They open at 945a when football season is going. Recommend the newchicken strips. Salad bar is closed but they have two salads still (Caesar and Thai chicken). Read more
I won $174 on Hot Spot while I enjoyed a very yummy pizza. I had fun and I'm going back for more soon. Kinda pricey but... delicious. Read more

My GF and I ordered the Bbq chicken pizza with pineapple since we saw another review saying how good it was and it did not... disappoint. Was made really fast for a busy Saturday night. Only regret is I forgot to get ranch. I won't be making that mistakenext time. Read more
Love their crispy crust. Their Thai chicken pizza is unique but I prefer sausage and jalapeño. Can be very busy on weekends.... Highly recommend to order it earlier. We wait 1 hour(it?s worth!) Read more

This rating is PURELY for the pizza as I don't really care about the place as a sports venue or a place to have a drink. I have... fond memories of coming to High Five about 20 years ago and decided to come back. The pizza, unfortunately, didn't quite do itfor me as someone who has eaten a LOT of pizza in many places around the country. Pizza is somewhat reminiscent of Round Tablein terms of the crusts thickness and chew; not much flavor in the crust either. The pizza was a bit on the dry side, needed atouch more sauce. The cheese and pepperoni needed a little more kick IMO as well. This may seem overly critical, but I'd ratethe pizza as "fine". In terms of taste, it's probably a three star, but considering the price, I'd rate it a 2 or 2.5 star. Tobe honest, I would rather have a Costco for $10 or Whole Foods Pepperoni pizza for a little more than that. It might be me, butthe hype train and the positive reputation that this place has possibly caused people to overrate the pizza. Read more
I have been a customer of this wonderful eatery which has withstood the tests of time, economy, and challenges because of the... uninvited pandemic, for more than 20+ years. I have seen new faces replacing a few old ones who always addressed me by my firstname like a family member. But the values are passed on to the next generation with the same ethics. I will gladly recommendthis place for a family get-together or a simple eat-out option. Read more
