Looooove!! As awesome as I imagined it would be. Great music, red velvet, low lighting, with a swanky vibe. Bartender Eddie is... knowledgeable, helpful and make amazing cocktails too. Could sit here all day sipping on whatever is served up. Keep in mind itis not well marked from the street. Make your way down the "kinda creepy" looking hall and be prepared to have a great time! My friend and I had a great time lounging there. We made an appointment prior to going, so we got to seat. Small basement... lounge, limited seating. Very quaint though, wonderful decor reminiscent of the 20s and prohibition. Love the hat lightfixtures. Wonderfully creative drink menu, great servers. Read more
I was craving a cigar around 10:30 p.m. on a Tuesday night, so, being from out of town, I looked on my phone to find where... cigars were sold near me. This bar popped up on my GPS, so I walked over and had a great experience. The bartending staff wasextremely friendly, and the selection of cigars was okay. I loved the atmosphere and decor; it was very unique. I had two drinkswhile there; two Monte Carlos. Both were carefully prepared and tasted great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone,and plan to go back the next time that I am in San Jose. Read more
Excellent cocktail bar in San Jose. The menu is excellent and super well thought out. I had a conversation with the bartender... who asked whatn I'm in the mood for and made a bespoke drink. Not once but twice! Glad to have funky rums in a cocktail.firstin an old fashioned style and then in a negroni style drink. All excellent. Read more
