Everything was fine but the food was just mediocre. Cool place for a Japanese meal but nothing special.

Mmm that?s tasty sushi here. And also we find options for a kid, and it appeared to be chicken which he liked. I myself must say... that ?Sexy Victoria? is one of the my favorite now. Plus good service and nice atmosphere Read more

A decent place for a quick sushi craving, but at our visit the rolls were mostly falling apart with gaps in the insides. They... tasted good, but didn't hold on the chopsticks or at the dip in the sauce. Read more

Excellent sushi and bento! It's so good that I'm reviewing this place like a restaurant that would cost 40% more. Keep in mind... that you should really try Ginza no matter my small complaints. The steak was nicely marinated, chicken katsu was very moistwith perfect breading, salad had great dressing, and even the soy sauce was deep and flavorful. My nigiri was mostly fresh, with some pieces practically melting in my mouth (salmon and shrimp) while others were merely adequate (yellowtail and flounde). The fsncy sushi rolls are quite extravagant and delicious. This sushi rice itself is a bit stale, and the California roll wasgood but not notable. The wait staff are friendly and helpful and the space feels nice and open. Although I'm a fan ofelectronic dance music, I'm not sure about playing it loudly during lunch. Read more

Not sure how anyone gave this place more then two stars. I was looking forward to my sushi date after months of not going out.... However this place left me unsatisfied and feeling ripped off. Some rolls priced at over $17 bucks came out tiny as if the fishitself was starving skinny. The salmon on top was cut soooo thinly you could hardly taste it. I know Covid is hurting a lot ofsmall businesses but charging more for less isn?t the way. Most of their restaurants still offer what they advertise and theyseem to be busier then ever. The edamame was over salted. The chicken karagge was dry dry dry. Served with ketchup! I havenever seen ketchup in a Japanese restaurant until now. On top of that it didn?t even taste like karagge it was just literallycup up chicken fried blandly. It?s a problem when you spend 60-70 on dinner and leave feeling hungry. Read more

If you're in search of your next hot sushi spot, look no further than Ginza Sushi, on Meridian & Hillsdale in San Jose. It is a... chain restaurant, but you wouldn't know that from the service or the food. This restaurant features great customer service, excellent sushi, and an over all good atmosphere. Although I've been here many times, this particular trip was just the wife andI, so that I could build a review for just two people. Depending on how into Sushi you are, I highly recommend starting with thesalmon skin hand rolls. They are honestly the best I've ever had. The salmon skin is crunchy and what I like about theirs, isthat they leave a little bit of salmon meat attached to it to make for a heartier roll. Second on the menu, was the hamchi kama,it's the meaty jaw bone of a yellowfin tuna, grilled. It's served with a sweet & sour, lime ponzu sauce that is to die for! Ifyou're not familiar with how to eat it, feel free to ask! as there is lots of hidden tuna steak in the bone structure, but whendipped in the lime ponzu, it will make you do a dance. Baked mussels were next served over rice, nice and hot, with a Srirachamayo that is to die for. If you take someone that doesn't like raw fish, this is a perfect dish for them. Lastly, we had theBlanca roll. We Like our Sushi spicy, and this one didn't disappoint. I won't go over the ingredients as you can see them ontheir menu. Overall it was a great dining; great sushi, in a decently decorated space, watching the NBA playoffs. Price wise, for these 4 items plus two large Hot Saki's and two large cold beers, it will run you about 60 bucks plus tip. And yes, we tooka little home, lots of food! Parking is hit-or-miss as there are a lot of restaurants and businesses in this strip mall, butI've never had to park far. They offer indoor / outdoor seating oh, and don't require a reservation. Try them out! I don't thinkyou'll be disappointed. Read more

This place was DELICIOUS. We made it there just after 6pm on a Thursday but there wasn't a lot of people at that time so we were... seated quickly. The waitress took our order within 10 minutes of waiting and was very helpful with the menu items. We hadordered a bento box and 2 rolls, one was the "Climax" and the other was "Ultimate Shrimp Delight" both were ???? Read more

This place just recently opened and it is a very nice looking place. Really liked the layout and wall art. Not sure if just came... at a bad time or what happened but the sushi and sashimi didn?t seem fresh. The baked rolls were falling apart because of toomuch sushi and sashimi was not super freshly cut it seemed. Hope they can turn it around so the food trumps the styling of therestaurant. Read more
