Starbird across the street had been my go to chicken restaurant, but this time thought let?s try the new store! And I must say I... am pleasantly surprised! The sliders were so juicy and tender! I had Dave?s in Vegas and loved it. When I found there is a Dave?s 2 minutes from my work I knew I would be eating here weekly.... My current favorite chicken sando place is Chick Fil A but this blows them away. The flavor is so much better. I had the two hotsliders combo and could barely finish them and I?m a big eater. The hot was at my limit but I think I?ll try the Extra Hot tosee if I can handle the burn. I like hot food so you might start a little lower like medium. The chicken tender is really tender indeed Staff are friendly and helpful
Nice location but parking is difficult sometimes, friendly staff and clean spacious restaurant. There was a line but it moved... quickly and food came out fresh and hot. They offer different levels of spiciness where the top level reaper requires you tosign a waiver. We tried extra hot, the rub is extremely salty covering the taste of spiciness fries also heavy on the salt. Thedipping sauce tastes mayo heavy so I skipped on that. The chicken was good quality and portions pretty big for the price, andthe bun is warm and soft. You are able to add cheese also of you like. The peice of white bread was another hard pass. I really enjoyed the sandwich. It has a dry rub, but I?m not really a fan of their sauce because it kind of like mayonnaise.
Pretty good Nashville style fried chicken with a spicy rub in the batter. The chicken tenders were good. The fries were good. I... found the white slice of bread an odd addition to the tenders and it took away from the taste and enjoyment of the tenders. Theydidn't do anything with it, no butter, not toasted, nothing just a regular slice of bread with a tender on top. The employeeswere kind and curious. My major complaint would with the price. My 2 tender meal came out to be $14+ which is really high forwhat it was. I didn't even get a soda for that amount. Read more
Being a fan of Dave's Hot Chicken in Union City we were so excited to have this one 5 min from our home. Gave it a try today and... it's not the same at all. The sandwich had a bitter after taste and the flavor wasn't close to the same. I'll still make the 20min drive to Union City. Read more
