Reviews for Cafe Rosalena in San Jose, CA
So I found out that there is a debate on whether or not This spot or Roses has the best breakfast burrito and I am going to have... to give it to Roses. This places burrito is good because you can choose the meats you want in the burrito as a combo burrito orjust get the basic bacon, sausage, or chorizo. One or the other for just one meat burritos. They are massive as well. Literallylike a 1lb burrito. It will definitely fill you up. The potatoes inside weren?t crispy or cooked fully either. Mushy more thananything. I ordered the combo with chorizo and sausage and it was all just mush. Not a whole lot of flavor. The salsas are ok.The ?world famous orange salsa? doesn?t even compare to La Vic?s. They tried and failed. It is also their mild salsa and greenis there ?Hot? which is basically a mild salsa anywhere else. I did see that they have quite a craft beer selection so ifthat?s your thing? You can go get a burrito and a craft beer. Enjoy! Read more

Decent bacon burrito, ??? (3) stars. (Edit: Amazing chorizo burrito huge, ???? (4)stars. Stars upgraded because of this only,... all sauces taste nasty with chorizo) Previous three star review, ???: Bacon (not crunchy) and Cheese (sauce based) basedtaste. Sauces are good. Best to worst: orange (sour cream based), green (boiled style), red (tomato style). Tortilla is good.Wait time 10 minutes Sunday 11am. In the future, I will buy Cafe Rosalena's three sauces and buy a Greenlee's burrito. If youlike Rosalena's, I recommend using the Greenlee's sauces on this burrito. Read more
A must eat at place. Everything looks amazing. I had the Brandon Salad which is the Mexican salad with avocados and grilled... chicken. It was a very large portion and tasted great. Will go back to try one of their famous breakfast burritos served allday. Read more
We were out of towners and stayed at the Arena Hotel and they recommended this Cafe place. We didn't expect much we just knew we... wanted something warm and feeling so what a better way to feel the need other than a burrito and some coffee ???? ????? We werethere Friday morning and it was very busy but they got people in and out really quick and the convenient part is that they havea speaker system so you can wait inside or outside and you'll still hear your name/order. The food was spectacular! They have awide variety of options and it is completely up to you how you want it to your liking. Be sure to be specific if you needsomething to your style of burrito. We also had an horchata latte and I can't believe how amazingly good it was. We had to trytheir freshly squeezed orange juice. It's definitely a must-have! Trust me. It's mui delicioso ???????? The place is small withlimited seating so be sure to take advantage of an open spot. Highly recommend this place for it's quality and taste! Oh! Theyalso have a variety of local beers! Yum! Read more
Just had an amazing and healthy breakfast here. Cooked to order (so be patient!) burrito bowl with their mild salsa. Enough for... 2 people! They recently expanded their dining area so there?s plenty of room. Counter style ordering and prices are lowconsidering how much food they serve. Will be back her again soon! Read more
