Have gotten takeout from here twice now. First was a carnitas bowl with all kinds of good sides and sauces. The most recent... time I got this delicious Caribbean mahi mahi. The ingredients here are fresh and delicious, the meals are made with love notsome sloppy thrown together mess, and it's not even expensive relative to everything else! Aqui?s is a causal yet tasty place for gluten-free options! A swirl is a must! I ordered the paradise swirl. The salsa is fresh,... and good. Service is alway is great! However, the chips are sub-par.. the swirls make up for it! Limit 2 swirls per person! Read more
I get it, Aqui is very good but someone needs to tell my wife it?s not the greatest restaurant ever created. All she talks... about is how we need to get an Aqui opened in Walnut Creek. And if they did, it might be the best food in the Creek, so maybemy wife is on to something. I?m not wild about this specific Aqui location only because I don?t like this area of San Jose. Very good food for a reasonable price. If you like hints of lemon/lime juice in your food, this is the place. Unlike other... places that just over powers the foods with sourness, it is nutritious and light, and biting into the lemon/lime flavor is likea pleasant delight when you do bite into them. Great Mexican Dinning. Well presented plating of food. Bowl options are available and some of them are very healthy too. Loved... the vibe of the place. They don't even charge a tip.
