As much as I can appreciate the dirty spoon type of establishment, this place falls short. The food was in a sorrowful state. ... Entirely bland, boring, and carelessly made. I had the biscuits and gravy, and it was almost entirely unseasoned. I had to addso much salt and pepper, I might as well have just opened up the shakers and dumped them onto the plate. It's like they made itwith plain ground pork, water, and flour. Dude! It's supposed to be sausage in the gravy. Sausage is supposed to have flavor. It tasted like wallpaper paste. Read more

2 stars is all the stars that I have left to give. Can't give 5 stars for just any establishment when I actually rate my dining... experience. They gotta meet my low expectations. I am a person who believes that I get what I paid for and I over paid for thehamburger and french fries. I won't go back to see if it was a fluke because it wasn't. They gotta treat every customer, and Imean every customer like it is their first time there and I didn't sense that when I walked in. I entered and stood there for afew long seconds and nobody noticed me. I saw a guy who was looking at me and he just said "sit anywhere". I guess I had toalready know that it's a seat yourself type of place. I saw that the place could use a bath and good cleaning. I can't speakfor those 5 star reviews, I didn't get that impression, but if I use Denny's as a benchmark for the last resort pit stop on aday just to get a sit down meal then Denny's wins and Denny's steak breakfast is like the worst steak breakfast I have had so Iknow something about low standards. Like I wrote, I get what I paid for. The food wasn't good enough for 3 stars. The place isnot very welcoming for a new guy, but I could just be sensitive. I felt like I should have just got McDonald's and been donewith it. I won't go back and won't recommend the place. Went there on a Saturday around lunch time. Just be on time before they have price increased at the Oct 1st. They are... specialized in buffalo, which they offer buffalo steak and burger. The service there is fair. They seem like often having a lotof traffic in the restaurant as I see there is a sign saying "45 minute limit if there is line outside." but the day I went,there is no wait time for a table of 4. I ordered their Denver omelet, sourdough french toast, buffalo burger, and chicken friedsteak. Their food is quite good, and one thing I want to point out is their chicken fried steak seems to me is ground chicken.Their onion ring tasted good too. Read more
don't judge book by it's cover the area outside is somewhat lacking ... but you go their for the food which is great
