Love this place for authentic HK food! We got a large selection of dishes including the pork and century egg congee with dough... sticks, clay pot rice, rice rolls, veggies, chicken. Definitely recommend the congee, clay pot rice and rice rolls buteverything was delicious! The unlimited milk tea and iced tea were also a plus. Read more

This is a chain store that has recently sprung up all over town. At first, I was expecting the expected, but it was slightly... better than I had thought. The beef chow fun was probably the most surprisingly good out of them all. I also had the chickenporridge, which was decent. I also ordered a vegetable dish which had lotus roots and for someone who doesn't like vegetable, itwas delicious. Of course, I also orderd the German crispy pork, which was above average compared to the other restaurants aroundtown. Was looking for Hong Kong style café in Los Angeles, tried a few places but were all disappointed, end up finding this place in... San Gabriel, happy to say it is very good, and they have free refill for milk tea!!!! The wait staffs are attentive. Out by these parts (basically away from Monterey Park), it becomes rare to find authentic HK cuisine like Delicious Food Corner.... DFC does deliver the goods, but at a price. The Clay Pot Rice was really, REALLY pricey for a dish that is just rice and meat.If money is no object, you?ll appreciate the way the rice grits onto the clay pot, the delicate soy sauce glaze, the chewytexture of the rice, and the aroma of the meat when it is brought out. The fried rice was similarly satisfying, with anexcellent wok aroma. If you?ve had subpar fried rice (ahem, mom that?s rice I?m calling you out), you?ll notice all the littledetails that their fried rice nails. All in all, good spot, terribly expensive. Read more

Loved everything about this place. Great menu, great prices. Have been wanting to try it for awhile. Egg sandwich w/ spam was... simple but tasty, the minced pork w/rice and egg was superb, and the wonton noodle soup was excellent. And the pineapple rollsw/ butter! Can?t wait to come again. Came here on Friday morning for Hong Kong style breakfast. There was a short line. They serve very authentic Hong Kong style... food. The breakfast combo the offer was a tradition in Hong Kong as well. I ordered the Chinese congee combo: dried vegetablewith pork ribs congee and dried shrimp rice roll. I also added a Chinese donut with steamed flour wrap on the side. I orderedthe coffee & tea combination drink. Food was delicious, and tasted like what I had when I was in Hong Kong. The food remindedme of home. Staff was friendly and they are very polite and respectful. Services was fast. Will come back again. Parking lotis a little small, and it could be an issue during busy hours. Read more
