Reviews for Clearman's Galley in San Gabriel, CA
I?ve had multiple meals here and have been satisfied with every one. Great sports atmosphere and classic American menu, great... prices friendly staff. Tonight was chicken dinner with 50/50 salad and bread. So yummy. Update: latest meal was beef dip with59/50 salad. Another winner. Unfortunately, I shot a plus 11 for 9 holes at Santa Anita. Which is worse than bogie golf.Great meal ended a terrible round. Read more
If you enjoy North Woods Inn, you'll enjoy this place too. It's right next door. It has somewhat of a sports bar vibe to it. The... food was really tasty. Good quality, nice portion size, and priced well. The service staff were friendly as well. This was myfirst time, and I will most definitely be a return customer. Read more
Been coming here since 1990?s, and the famous half chicken dinner becomes fried chicken dinner. They cut in several pieces... instead of one half chicken, so that less juicy and less tender. The super salty bread still is my favorite. Read more

Been coming here since I was a kid and remember fondly walking inside the boat to order back in the day. I had the Fried... Chicken Dinner $16.99 and it was cooked perfectly as were the sides. Fries only come with set dinners and are sold separatelywith burgers/sandwiches. My server Paula was very polite and got my food to me quickly. Great place to catch a game withfriends. Free parking in lot. Read more
This is a good place to come to watch the game, baseball, football etc.,and have a beer.... but not for food. It's super... over-priced! 6 hot wings are like $15! And the breading is super salty. Whatever the coating is....it's gonna raise your bloodpressure for sure! I'd skip those. Read more
Ahhh Clearman's Galley! Good, old steakhouse. We came here with the family for a celebration. We made reservation in advanced... (highly recommended); still had to wait for a few mins when we arrived to get the tables ready. The host seems to always be busyand their system was a little confusing. After checking in with the host and waiting a few mins, we got a text notification tosee the host again, and turned out we had to go to another section to see someone else for our seats. It was a little confusingand no signs. Our waitress was super nice and gave great service. Everything came out quick. The cheesy garlic bread was ablessing ????. Each meal came with baked potato smothered with their signature spread and a delicious rice pilaf which I couldnever have enough. My partner got the filet mignon supreme and I split a meal of the Angus rib eye steak. They do charge $10 forsplit meal which goes toward separating the meal into two different plates when they bring it out. The steak was perfectlycooked (medium rare) and juicy; however, it lacked flavor and I added salt & pepper. We spent about $250 for a 5 meals (1 mealwas split for 2 people). Read more
Sport bar feel with quality food choices. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was much better than before, like really good now... with well grilled onions. I mixed 2 thirds cherry coke to 1 third root beer for my soda. That went quite nicely. Read more
