Vegan-Friendly and beautiful ambiance. For vegans, you can get any pizza with dairy-free cashew cheese. Will come back, and next... time I?ll try the rigatoni with vegetables and vegan cheese. Very excited to have tried Vega on Courtland Ave. Greeted with ?buona sera? and their house wine definitely reminded me of... Italy. Each dish was a crowd pleaser, and we had to try their tiramisu as the table next door was drooling over theirs. We willdefinitely make it back! Read more
We went on a Sunday night and it wasn?t too busy. This is a nice place for Italian food in Bernal heights. The atmosphere is... nice and romantic lit with candle lights and hip background music. The grilled calamari was delicious as was the sea bass, linguini with clams and the butternut squash ravioli. The service was... gracious. Be aware: seating is extremely limited, even with reservations. We were seated in the driveway next door, which madefor an amusing experience. Read more
Lots of outdoor seating which makes for a great spot for Covid dining. Portions under awning have heat lamps, other locations... do not - ask hostess for a spot under lamps if needed. Vega is our neighborhood go-to for dinner - pizzas and other dishes are always delicious, there are many different specials... every day, the staff is super nice, the patio outside is great and the prices are really reasonable (for SF!). Read more
