Reviews for Turtle Tower Restaurant in San Francisco, CA
Hands down the best pho ga (chicken) in San Francisco, if not the broader Bay Area. This is Hanoi i.e. ?northern style? pho,... meaning there are less sugars and spices so the broth is cleaner and healthier. The noodles are flat and wide, the chicken isalways moist, and this will, without fail, cure you of whatever damage you did the night before. Can?t endorse TT enough?theydeserve your business! Great place to try northern style Ph? which is unique in SF. I loved Ph? Bò Ð?c Bi?t (Combination of Rare Beef, Tripe,... Well-done Beef Noodle Soup), the soup was crystal clear, and even though there was tender super rare beef and crunchy tripe, itdidn't smell strong at all - so it's super fresh. Read more
Decent northern style Vietnamese cuisine. The service is okay and fast. The flavoring is also okay but decent spot to meet with... friends for lunch/dinner. The neighbor is a bit sketchy, so please be careful when parking in the area. They take card/cash. Read more
Food was ok. Definitely not the best Northern pho in Bay Area as they claim on their wall (go to South Bay for way better; eg... Pho Ha Noi, Pho Ga Nha, etc). The whole surroundings were horrible. It?s located in the most sketchy area of San Francisco soour eating experience was impacted by that a lot. Staff was ok. If you want to eat surrounded by homeless people in scenes fromThe Walking Dead, definitely a place to visit. It was our first time and the last time I brought my family there. Read more
Always delicious chicken pho here. I usually go for the #10 pho with chicken giblets or pho ga long (liver, gizzards, etc),... which will not be for everyone. The broth and noodles are always satisfying to savor along with the giblets to munch on.Vietnamese coffee also hits the spot. I always take my visiting friends and family over here. Read more

???? Today was a bit chilly, perfect weather for some Chicken Pho (Pho Ga) ????????. I was recommended to ask for a side of... lemon sauce so this time I did. Yes, it was amazing ????. How I eat pho: I drink about 1/4 of the broth to honor the flavor andits essence. I grab a piece of chicken and dip into the lemon sauce, eat it. The lemon sauce hits you, resets your taste buds, and enhances your next bite. I then put some sriracha and stir it into the soup. The soup has now evolved ???? into a rich spicychicken broth. I drink another 1/4 of the soup exposing some the noodles on top. Then I repeat the dipping method and continueto devour the best chicken pho. Read more
