Troya is amazing! A friend of mine and I saw a movie at the Kabuki that partially took ace in Turkey so we looked for a Turkish... restaurant and found Troya just a few blocks away. We got the vegetarian meal for 2. For $70 you get so much delicious food. Read more

Seated and served quickly for some appetizers. Fabulous lentil soup, roasted cauliflower, and hummus. Basmati rice arrived in a... reddish sauce, which was unexpected. Great Turkish hot tea. Quinoa salad was pretty good, but the lentil soup was the realwinner here. Very nice staff. Read more

This might be a crazy saying….but Troya is, and might be the best Mediterranean food I have had in sf, okay okay maybe the BAY... AREA by FARRRR. What’s surprising is, I like Mediterranean food, but would never go out of my way because it’s just not myfavorite. But I will happily go out of my way for Troya. The food, the service is all exceptional. The falafel and the fries, ugh I crave those weekly. I literally never have liked Turkish delights but the ones there, wow. Wow wow wow Read more
Came in here once for breakfast with friends. The vibe of the place is cool - they had an actual live DJ playing! The service... pleasant if a bit slow. I had Turkish coffee which was quite good, and I liked the breakfast plate which was familystyle. Taking off a star for these reasons: The breakfast plate was a bit too expensive, $60 for a bunch of small things isexcessive. It should have been around $40-45 at most. We weren’t as full when we left and still paid around $120 with servicefor 3 people including the coffees. The other thing which I mentioned was that service was a bit slow. It took a while to getthe drinks despite the place being empty (we came at opening hour). It was also hard to get attention. They were nice andpleasant, but perhaps overly busy. Read more
