Authentic Italian place and it?s rubes you vintage European vibes inside the restaurant. Food was good, we tried pesto ravioli... and shrimp pasta with alfredo. Both of the dishes had right amount of spices, quantity of entree is adequate for oneperson. Bread was average, however with olive oil and vinegar it tasted better. Read more

Family-owned treasure of a restaurant in San Francisco. My fam wanted Italian food for the holidays and this is our go-to place.... We ordered a half super deluxe/half sausage and mushroom pizza, veg plate, and two clam pastas. All were to die for + we endedup with tons to take home ???? Parking may be tough but there are street/garage spots in the area. Read more

Great place to have a nice Italian dinner. They were very accommodating - we called ahead for a table of 8 and it was ready when... we arrived. Dining was outside for us - it was a bit chilly, but we loved the quick service on a busy Saturday night (and theyhad a big party of people that night, which made it even more appreciated on getting a table). The good was fresh and tasty withplates large enough to share for the younger kids. Parking wasn't easy, so take note it may take a while (mostly streetparking), but would definitely visit again when in the North Beach area of SF. Read more

I stopped here as part of a walking food tour and was lucky enough to meet one of the owners. He's a charming old Italian... American who regaled us with stories about the history of Tommaso's. I thought the pizza was good, but not as iconic as it wasmade out to be. Read more

Amazing pizza - the "carbonara" is my favorite. Probably the best pizza in the city. Their pasta is okay but tends to come out... cold, and the parpadelle is too thin in my opinion. The restaurant is also cold, maybe because of keeping the door open forcovid or maybe just for business? The wait staff are always friendly and make you feel like family. Read more

One of the best pizza crusts I?ve had in my life. This restaurant is an institution in San Francisco. The oven is one of the... oldest in the U.S. and the wood used really perfects the texture and taste of the pizza. My personal favorite was the margarita. The Spinach was okay but my personal preference is to not eat spinach raw. Looking forward to trying their other flavors in thefuture. Read more

Went to this place for a friend?s birthday celebration and it was amazing. We were a large party of 16-18 people and the owners... were kind enough to accommodate such a large group (outdoor seating) as quickly as they could. We ordered a variety ofvegetarian and meat dishes and all were amazing (check out the photos). Pesto dishes were super fresh so highly recommendordering at least one pesto dish. Desserts were amazing too, Tiramisu was a hit in the group and we ended up ordered 7-9tiramisus at the end (loved it so much). Read more

Friendly greeter, low key on the quiet unobtrusive side server . Free to engorge ourselves in privacy. Better than Rome? We... ordered in mind to have enough for breakfast at the hotel : Incredible pesto ravioli over freshly made beef squares, steamedclams w chopped garlic broth, the very best of NY Pizza yet add tastier, chewier mozzarella, paper then beef carpaccio with agedparmesan, fresh California vegetables marinated to perfection, house red drank intuitively ? no reminder to mix in the beautifulexperience.
