I was there for the annual lobster feast on August 26. Expensive - $125. But very good. My only complaint is for the chips at... the beginning of dinner. Not crispy and dip tasted like thousand island dressing. Well, you should not fill up on thoseanyways. The rest of the food was excellent. Very fresh oysters (separate $27 charge for half dozen). The lobster was of goodsize perfectly cooked accompanied with corn sausage and potato. And a little tart for desert. Once a year, it is a very goodtreat. The service was also excellent. Read more

We were lucky enough to get to taste the new Spring menu. Beautiful presentations. Flavors of both food and drinks were... interesting. We made reservations but honestly probably not needed. There were barely any people there for dinner. Lighting waspretty dim not great for pictures. It was very chilly in their outdoor seating even with the heaters surrounding us. Good placefor tapas. Totally overrated this restaurant. Service OK. Food below average and disapointing (considering the high price). There must be... better places in SF to eat a proper steak and lobster. And yes: it is more on the expensive side here (steak: 65 USD / lobster:75 USD). Would not recommend this place to friends nor visit again. Read more

A great birthday dinner! Good for groups. Very kind service. Cocktails were delicious including the off menu sazerac. The... tomahawk really made the ribeye look sad but both were cooked as requested and delicious. The tots had a good crisp on theoutside and soft inside with an appropriate amount of caviar. Mac and cheese was excellent. Fried rice was great. Could maybehave done without the mushrooms. Desserts were okay but we were so full at that point. Read more

This is a perfect date night spot, especially during the holidays. You need to book in advance, but it's definitely worth the... wait. The restaurant is outdoors, but is covered and has heat lamps. Everything is decked out in holidays decor, and they evenhave some festive cocktails. The food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the holiday music in the background. It's located right behind a giant Christmas tree, so the view is so pretty. Also, they have parking validation! (up to a limit) Read more

Had dinner here with some friends the other night, everything was fabulous! The staff, the food, the drinks! Everything was spot... on. My friends and I were so well taken care of not one detail was missed. We ordered a few appetizers (oysters were shuckedperfectly) shared a couple entrees and spilt practically ALL the sides. One of my favorite features was the knife selection. Weeach got to choose our own steak knives which made the dining experience even more unique. I didn?t take many photos because wewere just so in awe of how well we were taken care of but here?s a bit of everything before we devoured it all! All in all wehad a marvelous time. Big thanks to our waitress who was just so pleasant and sweet! Can?t wait to come back for a romantic datenight or another night out with the girls! Read more

This was very disappointing. The ambiance and decor was beautiful, but the food and service were both lacking. We were only a... party of 4 and it took over 3 hours for our meal, with 20-30 minutes between courses. For the price point of the menu, theflavor, temperature and quality were below expectations. We were excited to try their twist on pigs in a blanket, but the housemade sausage lacked flavor and texture and the wrapping was so overpowering that you lost the flavor of the meat. The elevatedtater tots were ok, but not hot enough when served and a bit too much oil on the outside but dry on the inside. The steak (whatthey are supposed to do best) was the most disappointing. The ribeye was $66 and came out like warm and lacked flavor, both inthe meat itself and with the seasoning. It was also really tough (especially since we all ordered it medium rare). The wines wehad were good, but also over priced. Because this was a new opening, we were pretty patient with the pace of service, but thesteak really seemed to be mediocre quality and the price for what we got was absurd. Don't think we'll be trying this again, sadly. Read more

A fine new entrant stepping into the steakhouse space in the financial district. This offering from an experienced team boasts... a superior bar and wine program, and has done well to furnish a range of well made sides to accompany the centerpiecesteaks. As of their opening night, they have hit the ground running with a menu offering you the choice of either very finesteaks as standard, or some exceptional and expensive upgrades, along with substantial options from their raw bar or for fishplates. For those who remember the cacophony of noise on the initial opening of Vault, soft furnishings and other subtlebaffling now hushes the din of conversation at the other tables, yielding a comfortable and intimate dining room.
