Reviews for The Socialite Crafthouse & Kitchen in San Francisco, CA
I came to The Socialite Crafthouse after work and ordered a Margherita Pizza. I think this pizza is on the expensive... side. There was plenty of cheese, but the cheese landed flat because it was more chewy than it was melted. 3/5 The sauce wason the lighter side, and in my opinion a Margherita should have more basil on top. 3/5 The highlight is the crust. As mentionedon the menu, this is wood-fired crust - and you can taste it! 5/5 Bonus: The Socialite has a nice bar and comfy seating areas. Read more
We ordered the vegan chilaquiles and avocado toast for brunch. The food was nice, and the staff was very attentive. I ordered a... poached egg on top of my avocado toast. It was a very small egg (or half an egg), so I don't think it was worth the extra $3. Ialso liked the music they were playing. Read more

Came here with a last minute reservation when we got to the door and got seated right away. Good: I liked how the food came out... quickly and the servers were really kind even though they said they were short staffed. I liked my hangover burger a lot sinceit was so savory and a huge portion size. The Belgian waffle was super yummy too even though it was simple. I also liked thefries that came with the dish. Bad: The lemon ricotta pancakes were a bit too sour for me and literally tasted like lemon whichI didn’t like that much. Overall I would come to try more things and liked the brunch vibe here. Recently visited The Socialite Crafthouse and Kitchen and overall it was a good visit and positive experience. The Socialite is... beautifully located on the Embarcadero and provides a screensaver view of the Bay and Bridge, especially on a beautiful day. This is a great location for date night or a meet up with friends. There are two outdoor fire pits and a fair amount of outdoorseating for those who want to enjoy their drinks and meal under a breeze. One of the components I really appreciated was thebranding of the business. There is no doubt that you are at The Socialite. My family and I chose to dine indoors and there isample seating with great spacing. You will be greeted by a hostess upon entering and they take walk-ins and reservations. One ofmy favorite parts is the rustic decor, open kitchen, large L shaped bar, and orange Socialite wall, near the kitchen / bar. Theyoffer brunch and dinner options. Something I didn’t like, was from 10 am - 3 pm on weekends, they offer breakfast exclusively. The menu is not bad, but it’s odd to only offer breakfast as late as 3 pm on a weekend. The dinner menu had a lot of greatchoices but I was unable to take advantage of any of it. My second concern was that our waitperson (a young man who seemedteenage age) messed up and forgot our drink order which was only water. We asked for ice water when we sat down, and it wasn’tuntil after we ate, that he brought it to us after a reminder. Also, when we inquired “what’s good on the menu,” he saidthe Chicken and Waffles, but, “it could be seasoned better.” Now, on one hand, I appreciate his honest assessment, but onthe other, he recommended a poorly seasoned choice. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles, Pancakes (eggs and chicken apple sausage- add ons.) My pancakes were good, but, the initial order was done incorrectly, because I didn’t want what comes standard(powdered sugar and raspberry jam). The eggs and sausage were good but were $5 each. That’s $10 bucks for two eggs a Read more
