Food is good but they were running 20 min late on an order that was called in an hour before pickup.

I was really looking forward on getting a bento box with a fancy handkerchief but I guess they stopped packaging it that... way... Arrived on a weekday right when it opened. Ordered for 3 and waited for about 10mins. I think it?s made to order. TheJapanese lady was nice and courteous. Omakase was pricey but the fish was FRESH ? probably one of the better Japanese sushiplaces at SF. It came preseasoned with soy sauce which is kind of strange. I wish I knew in advance and would have requestedwithout it. I prefer dipping my own soy sauce with wasabi. The packaging is flimsy it felt like it was about to fall apart. Soysauce was overflowing on the side which made it messy upon arrival. It?s a small shop like a hole in the wall. You couldprobably eat there but standing only (no seats). It?s pretty dark too. Generally the food here is to go. All bento boxes comewith rice, miso soup, pack of seaweed. I guess you can make your own hand roll. ????TIPS: Discount with CASH ???? Great quality with a variety of options but since they make the food fresh, you may need to hang out in the waiting area for a... minute during busier times. Read more
