It's ok, that's really what it is. Fried chicken is good but waffles weren't. Shrimp and grits came with a sauce (caramel sauce... - it was sweet) which, could be just us, didn't belong on the plate. Drinks were good though - bloody mary was very nice! Not a5 star establishment, but give it a try Read more

They forgot ( lost ) our order and notice until I said that it has been over 30 minutes, we had to wait 45 min for our food and... they didn?t want to tell us what was happening? the food was ok, good but not great. Kind of vanilla if you know what Imean. Staff was very friendly overall, the place is nice and cozy. Might have just been my experience that wasn?t great andthat?s why I give 3 stars instead of 4. If I could 2.5 stars Read more

Was in the neighborhood and had to try this place since it was a block away from where I was and I love fried chicken. The staff... super friendly and warned us what time kitchen closed but we had about half an hour left. We got the fried okra which wasperfect. I got the 4 piece fried chicken with garlic mash potatoes and collard greens. It was all amazing. Also got a side ofbiscuits very yummy too. My lady got the shrimp and grits she loved it I tried it too and was bomb. Also portion sizes are greatprobably will have leftovers haha Will be back if I'm ever in the area! Read more

Came here for brunch on the weekend. The host was super nice and attentive! I had fried chicken and waffles. The chicken seemed... to lack flavor. It was crispy but definitely could use some seasoning. The waffles though was good and dense. The chicken isbone in, unless you get the breast, which I thought was the best part.. very juicy. The biscuit was good, a little sweet. Ididn?t like the coffee, but I mean it?s just the regular brew so I really don?t hold them to this. The drinks were good though! The alcoholic drinks are a must try. I definitely come back for the drinks and the waffle. Read more
