Great tacos for an affordable price. Got the shrimp (which they actually use 5-6 fresh whole shrimp in) and the el pastor. The... sauce is a tad spicy, so ask for mild if you?re not too into spicy food. They also give you chips on the side and have a ton ofsalsa and veggies for you to have with them. Read more

The best Mexican food in town. Been coming here for years. Would recommend anyone of the plates or burritos. It?s fresh food and... it?s almost always busy. It?s also been rated as the best in California a few times. The other really good Mexican food placefor late nights is pancho villa tacqueria. Read more

This fast casual Mexican shop is cash only, which can be an inconvenience, but the Super Burrito with steak was an absolute... monster. It was HUGE, with lots of meat, rice, avocado, and other ingredients. The chips were a little stale, but were only 75cents. Overall, super good for cheap! Read more

El Farolito (Lighthouse) guiding light...... Translation for damn good Mexican food. 2779 Mission Street is one of the old... school Mission District Taqueria's. The quality of the food has been consistently great for the 20+ years that I have beenvisiting for food. The interior has 6 branch seats but the Taqueria now has outdoor seating which is great. The menu is diverseand you can do a made to order. The parking is a challenge as well as the entryway due to the open air sidewalk market. Asidefrom the environment, the food and service is 5 ? stars. Read more

Two words. Super quesadilla. As for salsa, go with both green and red and don't bother pouring or dipping, just sip on it after... taking bites. That quesadilla was so delicious and was worth having to deal with trying to find parking and the smell of driedpiss blowing through the open front door of the restaurant. I'm glad I don't live in SF because I'd be eating at that place toooften and would end up with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Read more

Probably the best carne asada I've had in a burrito. Well constructed, stuffed with filling but each ingredient balanced... well. Marked down a star due to the incredibly strong pee smell outside/in the entryway. Read more

Had a hankering for a true taco. Having just returned from a month in Mexico my expectations were low. We were not... disappointed. The place was very busy even at 3 in the afternoon. We tried the chicken, pork and ceviche tacos. All wereexcellent. The green and red salsas had to be my favorites in a very long while. I could drink them. Which I'm known for.The sadest aspect of covid casualties for me is the loss of the salsa bars. Read more

Hands down the best burrito I've ever had. My friend and I got the Super Burrito with Al Pastor to share and it was so... flavorful, good amount of spice, and juicy! Phenomenal price for such a hefty burrito, great service too! Cash only. Read more
