Reviews for Sun Rise Restaurant in San Francisco, CA
Yummy pupusa platter, great service and interiors, highly rec for lunch
Sunrise and I go way back 18 years ago the day they opened. I had a date for lunch and we noticed the new place opening and gave... it a shot. Ever since, it's been a solid choice latinx breakfast, lunch... I wish I had the whole menu to tell about, but Ialways order the pupusas! It's not 5-star fancy, but a 5-star good and friendly mission place to eat and great value. Gohere! The paintings are also nice to see right now. Bright colors, well done in a comfortable Caribbean style. Read more
This place is great! Whenever I come here I typically get the same stuff which is a Coffee with soy milk, hash browns, and the... vegan breakfast burrito and I always leave here feeling great! The vegan breakfast burrito here could be the best veganbreakfast burrito in the city. Read more
4 stars for very welcome atmosphere. Vegan burrito was good. Anything with avocado is a winner. Reminds me of Guatemala, eating... beans for breskfast. Read more
Amazing breakfast and lunch! We loved all of the vegan options we tried the last couple of visits: vegan chorizo plate, tamal,... plantains, Pupusas and tofu breakfast burrito The vegan chorizo plate was SO good, flavorful, and even had the crispy charredbits. It comes with tortillas, beans, rice and salsa - it?s my favorite dish there and the best I?ve had in San Francisco Theplantains were had a nice lightly crisp outside and perfectly cooked without being too greasy like some other places makethem. Service was friendly, timely and helpful. The indoor seating is bright, spacious and a very comfortable layout. A greatneighborhood spot! Read more
One of the best breakfast places in the Mission area. They always have nice vegan options. I have been here from downtown for... years to have breakfast. Their vegan breakfast burrito is delicious. It has soy chorizo so you can get protein as well. Thisrestaurant is not just serving food but it is serving for the community as well. I have attended one of their charity events atthe restaurant. Alba is always very friendly and cheerful and hard-working. Every time I see her, I feel like I have a Latinamother. Highly recommended! Read more
Lovely vegan friendly little family restaurant in the mission district. We traveled here all the way from union square just for... the vegan French toast and we were not disappointed. This restaurant is generous with their servings. The French toast wasloaded with 4 different toppings. I received a full kettle of hot water for my tea, and the vegan burrito was weighty. We alsoenjoyed the side of the vegan chorizo, it?s tasty and worth it. This is in a highly decorated neighborhood. It?s worthwhile tostart the day with breakfast here and bike or walk through the colorful neighborhood. Read more
Ordered the sunrise. The egg was well done so the yolk didn't run it was apart like hard boiled, yet the English muffin was very... soggy from the spinach. It wasn't good. My bf got the chilaquiles and even though it said no creama, it still had cream on it.My friends food had a hair in it. Definitely not going back. Read more
